As the stories of ezio and altair were wrapped up in the last game, where should ubisoft take the Assasins Creed series next? (implying they arent going for desmond yet)
Personaly I think that victorian London would be quite good because
1) anyone who's ever been to London can tell you how twisty and narrow the streets are, with lots of high buildings
2) there were plenty of corrupt politicians during that time so theres no shortage of targets, plus trying to sneak into the houses of parliament or buckingham palace would be an all new type of challenge
3) the world was just besoming modernised so ubisoft could dapple around in some steampunky type weapons (for example some sort of steam propelled RPG would be pretty cool to try out)
4) you could hire cockney orphans, who dosent like cockney orphans?
5) all of the major cities arent that far from each other E.g manchester, portsmouth etc. so the travel mechanics would work well
6) there was a lot of crime/murder/intirigue during these times, for example jack the ripper would make an interesting boos fight
So what do you think?

For me the obvious choices are either Paris during the French Revolution, Victorian London or The American Revolution.

Or maybe do something really cool that people won't expect like Hong Kong during and after the First Opium War.

I'd be interested to see something with an Asian setting, maybe the abovementioned Hong Kong one or Feudal Japan or something. I don't know enough about the latter to know if they'd have the right sized cities for an Assassin's Creed game though.

I'd love to see a Victorian London setting. There were plenty of prostitutes lurking and one of their missions could be to stop Jack the Ripper, like the one in Brotherhood when Ezio has to rescue Madame Solari.

Russian Revolution. I really, really, REALLY want a mission where you assassinate Rasputin; it would be such an unbelievably hilarious mission.

.
But Rasputin was anti-Tzar and spoke against the royalty... You want a Bolshevik assassin? Or a royalist one?

So much win! Mabye Ra-Ra-Rasputin should be playing the background.

American War for Independance is the time period ACIII takes place in. Also French Revolution makes logical sense as it happened after the AWI (which was also funded by the French in an attempt to get back at the British).

Yeah I know, I said that a few days before it was announced.

Well I think the point of thread was for people to post ideas about the next AC; as in not the recently anounced one but the inevitable spin-off/prequel/sequel.

Assuming a chronological progression, Victorian Britain, Hong Kong in between the Opium Wars, maybe the Indian Mutiny, the Russian Revolution. Assuming we can go anywhere and anytime, the Achaemenid Empire(the one the Greeks fought in 300). It was the superpower of it's day, and you could set it during the conquests of Alexander.

You forgot, Jack the Ripper. He went around killing courtesans. A elusive man, perfect as a Templar assassin.

Assuming we are talking about the next game AFTER AC3, I want Mars. Desmond can be as boring as he wants, because ASSASSINS...IN...SPACE!

oh, ok then... yea victorian England, Soviet Russia, ancient Egipt (i really wanna climb up a pyramid), ... maybe south America in the colonial periods (coverned by England), Feudal China or Japan would be really interesting :D

well... they said it themselves (Ubisoft): History is their playground
but i would like a more unorthodox part of history :)
