I used to play WoW, but I got hit with a nasty strain of WoW-guilt, and haven't been on in a while.
I want to play it again, but I don't want to go on a subtraction for a few reasons, one being that I plan on playing only for one or two months at a time.
A pre-paid card would exactly suit my needs, since it isn't recurring, and I can control it much easier finacally. But whenever I go to a store near me to get a pre-paid card, its aways the two or three month cards, which will cost more, and will probably go to waste anyway.
I saw that you can purchase the 30 day cards online, which sends the code to your email, but I don't know who to trust, or if it is even legal.

Help?

I don't think I made myself clear. To sum up my post:
Does anyone know if there is a trustworthy and legal site for downloading prepaid codes to your email?

Buy a three month card, Then use parent controls in the "User account" Page and control your habit.

Its not a habit, I was sure I made that clear in the post by actually having a play-time plan laid out, and not having lost my job due to it.
In fact, the probem is that I'm not addicted to it. Because there are so many addicts, its hard to find the simple 30 day cards.

I wasn't aware that there were any pre-paid cards other then the generic 60 day one. Or 2 months, to put it in simpler terms.

I'm pretty sure you can only get a 2 month one, so might as well do it =P

Doing the same here.
There are/were 30 day 15$ ones, which is what I'm looking for. But they're so hard to find. I guess they stock the most expensive cards becuase there is more addicts.

If you can't find a place to purchase them, try Game(The "S" is for "Sucks")Stop. The one near me offers 1 month cards.
Thanks for the tip. I normally try to keep from having to purchase anything from them. But now that you mentioned it, I remember that they do sell prepaid cards, and they should have a better variety.
It'll be worth the 20 minutes I usually blank out for after buying something, so I can survive the sales pitch of them trying to sell some stupid thing I think they call an "Edge" card.

You could just start a month by month subscription and then cancel it. That's what I did, and it cured my desire to play WoW again.

I was thinking about it, but I'm paranoid about the system automatically buying me another month annually. I'd rather be in control of it myself.
But I guess you could buy a months subscription, and if I stop playing before I use up all my days, I can cancel it before it comes close to charging me for another month, right?
See, this credit-card stuff makes me nervous. Could you tell me how you dealt with it, so I know what steps to follow?

Have you seen anything about buying prepaid codes online that are sent to your email? If you have, lemme know.

well yes I have, but if you really want you could always just buy a WoW disc since it comes with 30 days. lol

But they don't email the code to you, they just add time to your account.

I hope you were joking about buying a copy of WoW to get the 30 prepaid card, because it is possible to buy a 30 day card separately. But that's not what I'm looking for.
The store (Best Buy, Target, etc), did sell those 30 cards at one point, but they don't anymore. I cannot find them in any of the stores.
I'm aware that it doesn't email the code to you if you get a prepaid card. Its on a real prepaid card as a redeemable code, duh.
But I saw some sites that will send you the code to your email if you buy the card online(So you don't have to get a boxed version in a store, or have it shipped).
The question that I've been asking is if you or anyone else has any knowledge about a site that does this type of business, and is trustworthy. Also, I wanted to know if it was even legal, or if I could get in trouble for trying to buy prepaid time from a site not affiliated with Blizzard.

you won't get in trouble but you might get scammed.
