I picked up my friend at her apartment and the first thing she told me was "guess what, Michael Jackson died!" I didn't believe her at first, but then I turned on the radio, and it confirmed it.

It's a real shame too; he was a very talented man. When I got back home, I walked in on my father playing his Thriller album on a turntable.
