Target's closer to me than Wal-Mart but I don't think they have a hunting section. What they do have is balls.

My personal pick would be Dick's Sporting Goods (added the full name to prevent adolescent giggles...hehe) they have a very wide variety of hunting rifles and ammo, and it's right in the mall so that can't go wrong right...?

just off shore on a boat while I wait for the zombies to rot and fall apart after a week or two. I can fish and dive for food while I wait and not have to worry about them getting me from the water.
seriously, if they're dead, they're going to fall apart and decompose in 2 weeks and if they don't that means they're just sick with a disease and still alive... but not for long, they'll die in a few days and then decompose. You're looking at a month, tops.
It's not really a "years long" ordeal because dead things can't move and people that are out of their minds die... but then I tend to be the Buzz Killington of zombie rationale XD

Unless you leave for the mountains or a distant island, your chances'd be pretty much the same anywhere in the city, so you could as well choose a place with good supplies, back-up generators and medical facilities.

What I'd do is go steal some guns and ammo from our air cadets with my mate chris, and grab our girlfriends and ammo and put them in the middle of a footbridge. Then he defends one side, I defend the other, and when it's over we repopulate the earth.

I'd disguise myself as a zombie. Just make grunting noises and limp... unless they were the fast moving zombies that are seemingly capable of retaining control of all 5 senses; in that case I don't think it'd be even worth trying to hide, I'd just top myself.
