Where would you like to see Elder Scrolls V?

After an overly long period of time searching for clues as to where the next Elder scrolls would take place, I found myself Rick-rolled 7 times and submerged in a torrent of rumours. All of this leading to not a shred of light regarding Elder scrolls V.

If it were up to you, where would the next Elder scrolls game be set?

Surely it will be the same style and backdrop. I've only just started to play Morrowind so I'm not really steeped in the myth of it all. But TES seems like a series of games that are all set in LotR style world but with the freedom to just be.

It is taking place in Skyrim, Nord-land, endless trails of snow. Fun.

I would like it to take place in the Summerset Isle. High Elf country, magical beaches, constant sunshine, much better than the Russia of Tamriel.

More spells, pure and simple. Bring back the stuff from Morrowind, those were awesome.

After putting 2500+ hours into Oblivion, the most fun I had was messing with magic.

I'm almost sure that it will take place in Skyrim, as Bethesda has copyrighted it. I wouldn't mind seeing it take place in Valenwood though, huge tree cities.

I've heard it was Summerset Isle. But then again this was the same person trying to convince me it was called "Shadowrealm" which it might be ? any info on that ?

"Shadowrealm" is the working title as far as I know..........

I know that people thought that Oblivion was taking place in Summerset Isle. Obviously they were wrong. It seems like TES V will be in Skyrim though.

Actually to elaborate on my last comment, the shadowrealm is mentioned in one of oblivion's books concerning akaviri, so it is likely that the game will focus on the akiviri invasion, which I think came via skyrim.........

actually it's more like scandinavia...but on the point i would like it to take place in Akivir. supposedly they exist but you never see any of them or their continent.

Skyrim should be a good environment to explore. Loads of snow,high mountains,varied terrains,seems perfect to me.

I also agree with this, and the game would be so large, You would need an entire computer to hold the game data. Or if it were on the 360, it would need several disks and an entire hard drive to run.

Also, it would take several years to develop and it would kill the series. You do the entire continent + Summerset, you're done unless you suddenly skip forward to the next era unless a new continent suddenly explodes out of the ocean. EDIT: OR they do a prequel-type deal doing the Akavir war bit.

People are saying that it's going to be set in Skyrim. I'd prefer Summerset Isle, but if it was my choice I'd set it somewhere in Akavir. Probably never happen, though.

I thought Akavir was destroyed? Or am I thinking of something else?

I really don't have much interest in the whole Snowy North thing, but it sounds like that's where they will be going.

Akavir would be totally awesome. I doubt they will do that until they have done at least one game in all of the regions.
