Being that my ethnicity i.e. cultural identity is Czech, minority. There are no Czechs in my neck of Queens. Incidentally, the landlord and neighbors are Slovak, but they are still not Czech. Could be different if I lived in Astoria.
As for being white...probably still the minority (for my neighborhood). While I live in a ghetto composed of rust(rubber?)-belt warehouses and factories, the few residential buildings nearby are populated by either Dominicans or Koreans. But there is a majority of white people in NYC, and even more so in the US.
