Since when is 'white' a minority in Northern Ireland?

OT: I'm in a minority in the sense that I don't wear tracksuits and don't have a shaved head and an earring like most of the people around my area do. I also don't play any sports or say things like "A'riight laaaaaaawd?" (That's "Alright lad?" for those of you not familiar with Irish chavs. Basically, it means "Hi".)

Hmmm if people think hard enough anyone can fit into a minority. I'm 6'6" that's the minority of height. I'm also Catholic. Not sure in the USA where that fits on the minority scale.

Though if we're talking strictly about 'white' being an ethnicity then I'm the majority. If we're talking about actual ancestory to be more specific in the region I'm in people of Norwegian/Danish/Swedish/Finnish background are not the majority. It's mostly German here.

Ahh but guinness gets a different spelling after a few pints. Being Irish im sure you have lots of red head friends with a large cleavage and a love for dancing! :-D Though after listening to the Dubliners everyone gets a love for dancing. If you work in a pub its your duty to play music, no matter the role :-D and drunken people should stay in a pub as long as they don't cause trouble....and even better if they are red headed lasses! Im loving the Irish, my older Sis has been in an Irish dance troop for some 2-3 years now. Kudos to you guys

no offense mate but you have a pretty mixed up view about the Irish. we have problems,we have politics, we have lives to think about everyday. its not all leprechauns and getting drunk at the pub. oh and yeah some Irish people have red hair, but not all of us.

-_- im not that serious, we all have problems, but i love what Ireland is famous for, and that is good music and good beer. And i know not all of you are red haired, i was over emphasizing in an amusing way. I know its not all fun and rainbows but in a pub its all about fun, which we all need after a hard day at work, and Irish pubs are the best, least in my opinion. Nice talking to you.
