Where's all the SJWs at?

Since my other thread didn't really take off the way I wanted I guess I will try something more simple.

That being, where are all the SJWs who like gaming? And I don't mean the fly by night trollers or the well beaten strawmen, I mean people who are like, legit concerned about what they say and what they believe in. But also who happen to play video games.

Anyway, I only know of one solid community. ... that is it really.

Am I missing something? With all this talk of SJWs of late I would think there would be more organized cabals or some such here-bouts out there somewhere. With all this identity politics flown about I'd figure I group with my own kind, but even so, I don't even know where to look.

I tried searching on Google, and all I got was a mess of links related to decrying social justice or feminism anything. Can anyone help me?

I guess I'm a social justice warrior. I don't hate women or minorities and I agree with most of contemporary feminism, that counts, right? And one time I spent about an hour and a half on the Fuckyeahlesbiansex tumblr, and as we all know there's no reason to frequent Tumblr except for social justice warfare and lesbian sex. And I love the shit out of video games.

According to #Gamergate, most of the Escapist writers would fall in that silo too.

I think a female should be able to browse the internet for at least one day without getting "Pics or GTFO" messages. And that even a poor feminist argument against games is better than none at all.

That's the ultimate irony. While accusing anita and social justice warriors of "Censorship", SOME (not all not all not all don't kill me please) gamergate people have actively campaigned to get journalists fired for expressing an opinion they don't agree with, namely "Gamer is dead as a term" and "Can we go 5 minutes without getting death threats?". How is that not censorship?

No clue honestly, I know Tumblr has a lot of the actual social justice extremists knocking around somewhere, you usually have to look up the right tags though, out of all the blogs I follow, I never see them, but they are there, Twitter has a lot of extremists of all stripes, but I don't think either of those are the types of social justice you're looking for.

As for gaming specifically, this site is honestly one of the better ones I've found for people that talk on the forums about social justice topics, although it has its fair share of opponents and flame baity bullshit, especially with being one of the current hosts of discussion for the gamergate movement, but I find that more entertaining than an ideological echo chamber. I do hear that Rock,Paper,Shotgun, and Polygon have tons of "SJWs" but I don't visit very often so I don't know if that's true or exagerration on the part of their opponents.

So yeah, those two would probably be your best bet, I suppose it depends on what kind of "SJW" you are looking for.

Oh, I am sorry. I know how terrible it can be for some people when others make assumptions about them and phones. Some have been known to take years to recover from such vile assaults. It is truly a tragic problem which demands the intervention of a social justice warrior.

You may be onto something there. We use phones to communicate. Without them how will I send happy smiles and puppy pictures to my friends?... well I actually don't have any but... yeah

Ahh, no clue then, I think feminist frequency has its own community, but I don't know what their culture looks like, like I said, I think Polygon and RPS tend to skew pretty far into general social justice territory whilst having fairly coherent communities that are likely the closest to what you are looking for.
