The very first few times I went and tried to defeat Crawmerax by myself.

I died SOOOOOOOO many times, and it only took me a while to figure out there's a way to beat him. But that was days later after I got over how quickly he kicked my ass every time and calmed down. That guy sucks.

Another time was in Skyrim where I was fighting a Dragon Priest at the end of a side quest outside when a dragon and a fucking bear came at me. Apparently I wandered far enough away from the dungeon I was at that the bear and near by dragon wanted to know what I was doing. I didn't have a companion and I was royally fucked and dead not too long after they found me.

Every time I get "backstabbed" in the face by a Spy while I have full ubercharge after my entire team manages to miss him while he wanders straight through them in TF2 I always think that I must have done something to anger God. Valve really needs to fix the face stab bug.

I know that feeling. For me it's when I play a heavy and start capturing a point, and manage to kill about 6 enemies while doing so, only to get killed a fraction of a second before capturing by a spy or burning.

The Capra Demon was only hard because of those two dogs of his. Once you murder those mangy mutts he is a pushover. NOw that bridge with those two Silver Knight Archers on the other hand, or that room before Seathe the Scaleless with all those fucking clams.

Being sick, waking up with 9 minutes to get to my class that is usually a 20 minute walk away, running through the rain with a broken umbrella, body aching, breathing impaired by mucus, get to class soaking wet and late, out of breath with globs of nasty shit exiting my face, open my booksack and find that not only had I left my textbook in my dorm, but my work had been soaked through and the professor wouldn't accept it, and it was worth quite a few points.

EDIT: Oh! Shit, this was about video games, um... well once I had a boss down to just a few HP, one single attack could have taken him out, but I missed and he then wiped out my entire party with a really cheap attack.

Playing FTL, all my crew was wiped out besides Hicks (The other 3 were Hudson, Gorman and Ezikiel), my weapons were all down besides my 2 burst laser and the only thing stopping me from dying was my shields, and it was only sector 5... It was Game over, man! Game over!

I made it to the boss with just Hicks, it was kind of awesome how I survived but that is a story for another thread.

My brother was playing Rome and charged elephants towards a tiny group of enemies in a forest. Didn't see the double-thick lines of spearmen until right on top of them. Not an elephant survived.

Played through the new DMC on "Dante Must Die!" difficulty. You know that level with those fucking green puddles? That's right, the ones that hurt you, slow you down, interrupt your combos, decrease your combo meter and make it incredibly easy for those charging bastards to get you. Lot's a charging bastards, individual colour waves, mixed colour waves, there's just so much shit going on!

I had one instance in Skyrim where 2 legendary(Ancient?... the toughest ones in the vanilla game) dragons and a Dragon Priest all appeared at once. Poor lydia didn't stand a chance. It was out a word wall, I had just arrived when the randomly spawned dragon appeared, while the other dragon took off from the Word Wall... I ran to the word wall hoping to use its structure as cover from their strafing attacks, but found a Dragon Priest bursting out of its coffin when I approached it.

After around 20 minutes of me chugging potions and liberal use of the Ethereal shout, I finally succumbed.

Epic fight, but I was fucked... I couldn't even run away.

All in a row, in a single turn to score a touchdown.

I wish there was a button in the game that warps in Blood Ravens and allows you to watch them massacre the rules.

I'm shit at BloodBowl even on easy difficulty, I screw up too much because I don't really bother with stats, and I don't know all the modifiers, cause the rule book is big enough to collapse into a black hole.

The worst part is when a half-ling takes down a Troll(Orc teams big guy, its either that or an ogre)

Its really quite simple. If you strength is higher than theirs, good, two die for a block. If you double their strength (i think its double) good, you get three.

Good, all you need to know, go kill people.

(I play chaos, I don't need more knowledge than that)
