As the title says, which books do you want made into another form of media ?
If you can, please state the differences.

I would like to see "The Final Empire" by Brandon Sanderson, aka "the new Robert Jordan", be made into a game.
You get the powers of Allomancy as a Mistborn, and it should be a MMO. Each social class has a different story, and you have crews instead of guilds.

Does the entiraty of the old World of Darkness count?
Cause I'd love to see another Vampire game but there are so many potential games to be made from the other lines as well.

Edit: Rulebooks to Videogames, a film could be good but I have my doubts.

I'd like to the His Dark Materials sequels get made, and made as PG-13 movies. Seriously, the movies did really well outside the US and the religious controversy would be seriously diminished if the movies were PG-13.

Oh, man... I was just thinking about it, but... I really think that the Halo books would make a GREAT game. But I think that "The Flood" should be the first one they make, though.

Such a kids thing to say, but I was always sad the Artemis Fowl books were never made into movies.
Oh, and more Discworld. Though the kids ones would be great for some fresh children's movies too.

Either or both of richard feynmans biographies (preferably the first if I had to choose). It'd be fun

Fahrenheit 451, i have seen slight bits of an old version of this on film, but i needs seriously updating.
It looked nothing like the world i imagine Guy Montag lived in. TBH if i had the money, i think i could do a damm fine job of turning this into film.

A Lovecraftian horror, yes they have been made but they were kinda vague about it, I want something like the Mountians of Madness with a Hollywood budget, that would please Azathoth.

I would love to see the Mortal Engines series turned into a film/game.

It would have to be incredibly well done, though. Something that good demands quality.

I'd love to see R. A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Saga featuring Drizzt Do'Urden into either a movie or game, but I'd prefer making into a game. I'd love to see Drizzt and Guenhwyvar tear the crap outta things. That, and the fights with Artemis Entreri. Amazing series.

Eragon would make a GREAT movie/game!

Maybe with a talentless pretty boy as the main character!

And Jeremy Irons as a good guy!

And maybe they could tear out 95% of the book!

I think the Skulduggery Pleasant books would make good games. Being able to use some of the magic in those books would be awesome. Well, fireballs and super-wind jumps would be. And the Necromancer shadow-punch. And basically anything Tanith can do with the running on walls and everything.

I'll stop there before I end up listing everything in the books and why I want them in a game.

EDIT:
Oh, as it being a film, it's already meant to be being made. Well, the script's being written, but that's better than just having my hopes.
Which is all the games have.
*sniff*

I thoroughly enjoyed "The Edge Chronicles" as a youngster and the sheer amount of imagination and originality that's put into the books would make for a great film series. Plus, with all of the artwork that exists already, there's a strong frame of reference if anyone actually decides to take up this challenge.
