I'd love to see China Miéville's Perdido Street Station become a game somehow. It's an amazing dark steampunk novel with great characters and mind blowing imagery. Plus it has monsters. In the right hands it would make a heavenly mix of Blade Runner, Gears of War and Mass Effect. It's practically begging to be a videogame.

I'd like to see the Night Angel Trilogy made into games. Make kind of like a cross between Assassins Creed and Thief and I think you'd have a recipe for success.

maximum ride. i know that some people may not like them and they are for the same age group as skulduggery pleasant i just think they would make a great film(s).
and yes i know they have already gave the movie rights to someone like the guys that made the xmen films (though im not sure who).

I think a Dr. McNinja video game would be great.

Also, a The Neverending Story RPG. A world varied beyond the things our Elder Scrolls-dominated minds can imagine...

I'd like to the His Dark Materials sequels get made, and made as PG-13 movies. Seriously, the movies did really well outside the US and the religious controversy would be seriously diminished if the movies were PG-13.
I'd like those movies made as well, but they'd have to start all over again, because the only good thing in that movie was Lee Scoreby's moustache.

The Three Musketeers anyone?

Yeah? It would have 4-player co-op too. (Yes, there was four musketeers.)

I'd like to see "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" made into a TV Series. I say TV series because the book is probably to long to make a good Movie adaption and so it would probably work better as a TV Mini-series. About 8-12 episodes long and you could probably get all the really neat and hilarious stuff in there.

I'd like to see the last 5 Harry Potter books made into movies

and I'd like the people in charge of the movies to have read the books

and I'd like to see Harmonie cast properly

and I'd like to see them not cut out 3/4 of the character development

and I'd like a diamond studded toilet

and I'd like the snack bar at the movie theater to charge regular fucking prices!!!!!

good books make awful movies (see Bonfire of the Vanities)
bad books make good movies (see The Godfather)
but sometimes bad books make bad movies (see Twilight) [sub]you know what, don't see Twilight[/sub]

I agree with Brandon Sanderson's stuff, David Gemmell (the man wrote so much fantasy it's frankly astonishing none of it's been picked up yet) or the Night Angel... Mortal Engines would be nice too... but I think I'd really like the Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart, or perhaps Sabriel by Garth Nix, to be made into films or games... I think they'd both work as games, Dice Man's 'dicelife' system could be fun. And as to the poster above who said 'Halo: The Flood' should be made into a game, wasn't that a novelization of Halo? A game?
I may simply have missed the joke there.

Crossover, Breakaway, & Killswitch by Joel Shepherd. That trilogy is such a well-realized vision of the future, I can fully believe it will happen. It would make for some incredibly fun games, and a really engrossing piece of cinema.

That said, another Vampire game I would very much appreciate. Bloodlines was ahead of its time.
