Pyro was the first class I remember doing well as. So if I can do well as a class, anyone can do well as that class.

The pyro is brokenly easy sometimes though. In this one bad surf map where everyone spawned in the same place I was able to get 31 kills with the backburner in one life. Since then I have vowed never to use that weapon again.

I found the Heavy, the Scout, the Medic and the Pyro to be rather good classes to start off. I'm new too and I'm doing pretty well with each of them.
