What is it and why?
Conditions:
- Remakes and reboots are fine.
- The movie would have the cast and director of your choice.
- You would have total control over plot, continuity and any sequels to follow.
For me it would be a tough choice.
1) Green Lantern really deserves a better franchise.
Heck, say what you want about the continuity and controversy over the whole Parralax->Kyle->Rebirth->Blackest Night->War progression, but I really enjoy the story overall and am fine with the various twists and turns.
If I had a choice, I'd make it into a trilogy. First movie would be an introduction of Hal, Sinestro going evil and end with Sinestro imprisoned and Hal victorious, but troubled.
The second would involve the destruction of Coast City, Hal's descent into madness and becoming Parallax. Sinestro would be freed to fight him, and Kyle could be introduced in some fashion. It would end with Hal wiping out most of the Corps and Kyle taking over as GL.
The third would be the emergence of the Sinestro Corps, Hal's redemption and the final fight against Parallax's true form. Or something. It wouldn't strictly be canon, but it would be a damn sight better than the craptastic movie.
2) The Flash.
I'm amazed there isn't one of these already. Cool power set, some pretty deep and interesting arcs, probably the second best Rogue's Gallery in the DC arsenal aside from Batman. Story and cast, I don't know. But again - lots of options.
3) Green Arrow.
Again, amazed there isn't one. Another solid DC character with a pretty interesting backstory, look and an interesting archetype that hasn't really been done much. Black Canary is also an intriguing character that could stand to be introduced into the film. Best of all - with Flash and Green Arrow around, you'd just be a Wonder Woman film away from a possible Justice League movie
