I don't have many because money. Yay for free web comics.
For published stuff I'm currently slowly reading through Batwomen (ARRRTTT! *drools*), Chew, Fables, Sandman (yes still) and Pretty Deadly (Where my current avatar is from. Not sure I'll keep this one.It just started. I like dark fairy tale style stuff but the writing in this is kinda missing the mark a bit). I want to read Hawkeye, Saga, Revival and The Boys. Most recently finished was Locke and Key. I picked up some Thor: God of Thunder on a whim and might get some more. I'm still not particularly interested in Thor himself but I rather like Gorr and some of the concepts it's playing with.

Problem I have with on-going comics particularly superhero stuff aside from cash is that I don't generally want to read the same characters for too long and like there to be a proper end point somewhere.

It should be. The first arc has just completed. Hopefully they don't have more delay issues.

Red Lanterns
Supergirl (she's a red lantern now so i had to start getting it)
Harley Quinn
Serenity
Tomb Raider
MLP: FiM

Did you pick up Threshold? Any thoughts? I quite liked it as a standalone alongside the Lantern Universe.

Currently, I'm only really reading the My Little Pony comics as they come out. My favorites by a sizable margin are issues 9 and 10.

And if manga counts, I'm currently reading Monster Musume/Daily Life with a Monster Girl. Really funny stuff.

Okay, I have admittedly not read Lost Girls. Because I would just feel creepy. Hoo boy you are an odd one mr Moore.

Neonomicon, I think I have archived somewhere but have not gotten around to reading it yet. Is it decent? I am a huge fan of HP Lovecraft and am curious about a comic book take on the Cthulhu mythos.

i did. i quite liked it. was a shame that it got canceled they could have done alot with it. there's plenty of forgotten characters out in the universe that they could have brought in. and ending it right after lady styx shows up kinda sucked.

Comic book stores are an oddity around these parts. By pure chance, I came across a shelf for graphic novels in a public library the other day. There was a little prequel comic for the video game Rage. It wasn't bad at all, considering they don't usually interest me. Calvin and Hobbes is probably what I've read most of in terms of comics...every one I could find.

Judge Dredd, about 30 years too late. I'm not being current with it, is what I mean. Don't seem to have much interest in Rogue Trooper, might give ABC Warriors and Strontium Dog a go when I tire of Dredd.

you should find your local store....they usually have soemthing that isn't super hero related..mainly books from VERTIGO or Image

if you find something that interests you and its a 1# in book for it might be worth chekcing out..theres more to comics than just the big two

My feelings on Neonomicon. Huh. OK... let's put it this way. If you'd feel creepy reading Lost Girls, you'd probably also feel creepy reading Neonomicon. I mean, it's explicitly sexual in a way that's pretty horrifying.

I mean (spoilers)...
[spoiler/]It includes an explicit rape scene. Not meant to be titillating as much as horrifying.[/spoiler]

Still, I read it, and I think that if you can stomach the sexually horrific scenes... it's worth reading.

So... I don't know. Use your own judgement.

There aren't any comics that I'm up to date with though I am diving into back-logs. I did try reading a couple of series from The New 52 but that didn't last...not that I hated what I was reading of course, just...circumstances. Anyway, comics I'm reading...

I can't really make a good list honestly...I read all kinds of western Super Hero books, mostly DC though I started with Marvel and still go back from time to time depending on the arc. I still need to go through Secret Wars for example. As for DC there's a ton I do enjoy going through, even the monumentally bad stuff like Liefeld's run of Deathstroke. I just ordered a couple of trades including Justice League (unsure of the year...mullet Superman and, Kyle Rayner as GL) and, The Titans vol 1 (Old Friends). Like with gaming, I'm also drawn towards some of the comics that people love to hate like the aforementioned work Rob Liefeld has done (though I've only read Youngblood 0 and 1 other than his run of Deathstroke).

Thanks for the welcome

Honestly I'd be wary of the underage thing more than the explicit rape thing (odd I know)

The shadow over Innsmouth and the Dunwich horror both implied some pretty horrific alien-rape, Lovecraft never went into detail on it but it was rather obvious what he was hinting at. It should be an interesting read.

So Neonomicon is pretty good (certainly graphic), I just feel that it doesn't work as well when you take the setting out of the 1920's.

I'm mostly a "trade" book type guy, but my bookshelf has mostly:

The Classics
Batman: The Killing Joke
Batman: The Man Who Laughs
The Dark Knight Returns
Batman: Year One (sensing a theme...)
300
Sin City
Watchmen
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Books 1 & 2, "The Black Dossier" and the "Century" Series)
The Crow

Random Books
Hellboy
Spiderman
Hulk
Batman
Umbrella Academy
Judge Dredd
Elric of Melnibone

And recently I've been getting into "Constantine" and "Preacher" because of the upcoming TV series. But I'm REALLY enjoying them both.
