Which Disney Movie do you think could make an awesome live action film?

Doesn't have to be same storyline exactly, but the essentials of the plot need to be there.

I think, if done properly and directed by someone like Peter Jackson, The Beauty and the Beast could make a fantastic and maybe frightening live action film.

Maybe if it was taken from the book rather than the movie. It would be interresting to see a new interpretation, as I don't think there's realyl been anything since Disneys 1991 (i think) adaptation. Especially if it was done by a director like Tim Burton for example, it would take a very different twist from the cartoon I think. Then again Tim Burton's currently directing Alice in Wonderland which will be interesting.

As for live action films being interpretted from actual Disney Cartoons ... Aladdin? Might be a interresting one.

A lot of the appeal of the pre-Pixar Disney films is the care and attention to detail that went into the animation, I don't think they'd translate well to live action.

In case you missed that, my point was that half of Disney's classic cartoons are themselves based on someone else's story, which has already been told in live action.

Agreed. Remakes always destroy the best parts and as a live action movie, I just couldn't imagine it but it wouldn't work out well for a family movie.

And seeing how recently every Disney movie is bad, it would be a crime to ruin such great movies.

Edit: After seeing that Wall-E, The Incredibles and Cars were made by Disney, I would like to reiterate by saying all real-life movies by Disney are bad.
