All of my favourite characters would make terrible friends... John Constantine being top of that list. I guess Tony Stark, for the money.

Hmm maybe Hazama from BlazBlue. He isn't really the type to have "friends" though... I would be lucky to get out of one conversation with him with my sanity. Still his very charismatic trolliness has a draw to it so I might stick around.

Noel would be a safer bet, I could ask how she pulls off the beret so stylishly and tell her to man the fuck up and stop being such an indecisive, hand wringing idiot all the time. You think it's cute at the start of her story mode? Give me your answer a few more scenes in.

Since I main her I would like to say Mu-12 but let's be honest, she's fucking mental. Not as bad as Lambda I suppose since having one emotion is better than having zero, albeit that one emotion is ice cold hatred of everything. Thinking about it, if Mu ever said anything slightly nice to anyone she would be the best Tsundere character ever.

Also Twisted Fate from League would be the best drinking partner ever. Drink in any sort of gambling establishment and you're rolling in expensive drinks. That is until they wonder how he's getting 4 Aces every single time. Oh... Hold on. Wait then he would fucking Gate out wouldn't he? Leave with all the profits and drop me with all the pissed off casino guys. You ************, YOU SET ME UP!

Saul goodman from breaking bad. This guy is one of the most (if not the only) fun and down earth character

Also if you need anything you can garuntee he will sort it out
fun as he may be but he has a pretty much 24 hour job, so no offence to you but he would probably never hang out.

Rainbow Dash... She's cool like that...
Sokka... We would act like twins, basically...
Spike Spiegel... He's cool like that...
Rayman himself... Enough said...

Honestly, I'm not really sure on this one. There are many choices to be had, but if I had to pick one...

Swampert. Yeah, Pokemon can't speak human languages (Unless we look at some of the anime's less memorable episodes, as one reveals that Team Rocket's Meowth literally learned English by listening in on language classes), but Swampert is a dependable Pokemon. They stand about as tall as an average human, and have immense strength, up to the point of being able to easily pull off what it took a whole Jeager to do in Pacific Rim (For those who haven't seen it, a Jeager drags a boat and swings it at a Kaiju). They can act as a flood early warning system, as it can detect even minute changes in the sounds of waves using its fins. Not to mention that Swampert really only has one weakness, that being any Pokemon that can manage to get off a Grass-type move that not only gets past Swampert's naturally tough defenses, but also manages to knock it down.

Torchic, as I knew him from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. We were the truest of friends who faced the hardest of, hardships.

HK-47, provided I could keep a lid on his homocidal tendencies.
I do hope he'll be content with witty repartee, sarcasm, and clever insults towards all the people who aren't his buddies.

Or heck, the Dark Lord of the Sith him(her?)self, Revan. Even ignoring the blatant advantages of having a force-using buddy, continually hanging around and observing a charismatic mastermind is sure to net you a few tips for success.
Best of buds.

Arcade Gannon. Moderate and intelligent, he genuinely seeks to use his skills towards philanthropic goals. I like the cut of his jib.

I would love to say Tyrion Lannister but I'm not too far into the read.

I would have to go with The Tick. Something about an idealistic but naive buddy that just doesn't see the world through the same lens and the rest of us appeals to me. I like to be entertained by my friends and sitting back and watching The Tick...well...tick, would never get old!

I'd totally hang out with Krieg from Borderlands 2, enjoying his screaming rants about bicycles made of meat. I'd also hang out with Thrall from Warcraft.

Lord Sanguine from the Elder-scrolls series.

Can't remember the exact chain of events, but stealing a goat, giving it to a giant, and marrying a witch is just a spectacular night in anyone's opinion. Also partied so hard that you woke up the town over :p

Off the top of my head...Joker and Garrus from Mass Effect, Eli Vance from Half-Life 2, Picard from Star Trek TNG, Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1...I mean the first two are the only ones I could cut loose with, but the latter three strike me as people I'd really enjoy chatting with.

There's a Protocol Package for that, you know...

Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, I bet the three of us could have some wacky adventures together!
