either pokemon or mass effect. Pokemon because for some reason a ten year old can take on professionals who are much older and more experienced. Mass effect because I just like it; omni-tools, asari, great healthcare and I'd love to see a krogan do stand up comedy; that would be awesome.

The 40k Universe, of course! I mean, there's a ~1/1,000,000,00 chance of becoming a nigh-unstoppable genetically engineered superman; a ~1/10000 chance of surviving for several centuries; a 1/10 chance that your soul will be consumed by a mind-melting horror from beyond the veil of space and time; a 1/1000000 chance of becoming corrupted by the pure esscences of pain, rage, plague, and confusion; a 1/100000000 chance of becoming an immortal indestructible demonic monster with three heads, nine tails, eight arms, four hooves, ~twenty tongues, and a constantly shifting number of tentacles; a 1/100000Xradiation/planetary birth rate of being a powerful psychic commando; and a 1/1(10) chance of seeing your eightieth birthday!

I mean, how can you resist those odds?

Any of the big ones really; star wars, star trek, dc, marvel, mass effect, star craft... etc

except for 40k universe... that's just too depressing and let's be honest, none of us here are space marines, which pretty much leaves us as either cannon fodder (imperial guard) or helpless victims (imperial citizens). At least in the mass effect universe you can always pull a Conrad Verner and pretend to be awesome =P

Hell I'll admit it. I'd pick a sci-fi theme above any fantasy themed universe. And EVE got it right (well it was the closest). Despite my love for Star Wars/Trek, neither of them have actually advanced technology that a) makes sense and b) enables people to be immortal

Beacause I'd rather live without fear of death in a universe of limitless possibilities than struggle with the burden that in any other universe my life (no matter how awesome or how many superpowers I had) would be utterly meaningless in the scope of human history. One day, all the jedi will be gone, and they will only be a memory. Weeks become years, years become centuries, until they become nothing more than a legend...

Plus EVE ships could kick the crap out of all the Star Trek/Wars ships in existance. 8 kilometer long Super Star Destroyer is your biggest ship? I've got one twice as long.

Middle Earth, Midkemia, the Mass Effect galaxy, Thedas or so on. Anywhere that I could enjoy a high quality of life, perhaps dabble in magic, and do something really interesting. I'd also like to be involved with the characters of the main plot taking place in that particular world, to give myself something interesting to do.

I've answered a question like this before here, but definitely the Buffy-verse. No question. I'm obsessed with that show. The only negative would be that, since I would be living in something created by Joss Whedon, if I was ever perfectly happy or content for even a moment I would immediately be killed off.

Damn you Joss, you magnificent bastard, you.

I'd like to go to any universe where magic, cyborg upgrades, mythic pets and adventure, are either ALL commonplace, or at least any mix with adventure would be fine by me.
