Which finger do you use?

...to hit the triggers on Xbox or the L2 and R2 buttons on a PS?

I find myself using my middle fingers more often than not, saving my index fingers for the bumper/R1-L1 buttons.

Then again, I don't play many shooters, and I imagine those that do would prefer to use, y'know, their trigger finger.

So, which finger, Escapists?

For the triggers I use my middle fingers and for L2 and R2 I use my index fingers.

And yeah, I figured if nothing else, the title would get people's attention pretty fast.

I only really bring it up because I just noticed it today. I never really thought about it before. But after a 8 hour long stretch of Dead Island, my middle fingers were hurting, and I oculdn't figure out why (like a true derp) for a while. Then, I grabbed the stick again and I was all like, "Oooooooooooooooooooooh... neat."

I thought the same, but I guess my brain just started doing it on it's own, but kept me out of the loop to prevent any problems... until today at least. (see above post.)

Index for the triggers. R2 and L2 aren't used very much in most of the games I play, so I'll just stop using the triggers for a sec and tap it.

I use my index fingers for L1/R1 and middle fingers for L2/R2. If it's an Xbox game, I'll use my index fingers for all the buttons, resting them on the triggers.

They really should have mapped the Kick to a face button rather than left bumper. Especially considering the fact that i use kick 5-6x more than any other combat ability, and Y and B serve basically no purpose in combat

I use middle fingers on the triggers and index fingers on the bumpers during the rare occasions I play on a PS3.

I am far more often on a 360, seeing as I actually own one, and I use my index fingers for both triggers and buttons on that. I've yet to encounter a game that requires their simultaneous use, so it's never been a problem for me.

I wish they'd have made it the left trigger. But the thing I really hate is using the x button for everything. I can't tell you how many times I've wasted a medkit on someone while trying to trade with them.
