Well i've not really been looking at what's coming out this year but:

Killzone 2
The Sims 3 (checking it out at least)
The Outsider (if it gets released this year)
Dawn of War 2

Hoepefully there'll be some amazing games released this year, last year, though it had its great games, had some really poor ones too.

Someones a little unclear on the concept of original - its Devil May Cry, starring and written by Sarah Palin.
I think he means something which isn't a sequel, but yeah, it does look a bit too much like devil may cry.

Lets see - within the same genre, your choices are a continuation of the defining work of said genre, or an incredibly dumb and shameless immitator to the second in command.....

Just because somethings new, that doesn't make it good, and just because somethings a sequel, that doesn't make it bad.
(sigh) Here we go...

I did actually say that it looks too much like devil may cry but whatever, if you insist on arguing then lets get this over with.

I didn't say it was going to be good because it was new, what i was trying to say was that its good to see a new franchise beginning (whether its similar to a previous one or not).

I also never implied that sequels are bad, in fact my favourite game of 2008 was a sequel (mgs4).

Right then, lets get back on topic...I'm looking forward to bioshock 2.

I don't really have anything in my sights for this year yet other than Guitar Hero Metallica (direct flaming to my inbox) so I can gleefully flail around in my bedroom with a whole set of not-so-cheap plastic instruments to some decent music. And get achievements at the same time.

I guess I will get Bioshock 2 if it is out this year, but we know it will be about butterflies and hitting moist emo girls with your big manly wrench whilst big daddy polishes his drill attachment in the corner. But I digress. If it looks like it will live up to the expectations I have for it before it is actually released then it will be purchased.

Most of all I look forward to playing some of my older games that never got played due to business over the past few months. Hell, I might even break out the N64 and play BK.
