Ocarina of Time - if it wasn't for the fact after beating the boss it just reverted to before beating the boss, if it allowed the player to run around in a now perfect world and have one last chat with the npcs, this game would really have been literally perfect.
Damn, beat me to it! MGS is without a doubt the best PS1 game I've ever played.
