Besides World of Warcraft? Hmmm...

I'd have to say Counter Strike: Source, I've sacrificed countless hours of my free-time to CS:S.

Pretty sure it'll be Oblivion for me. I've got about 220 hours on the 360 version and another 100 or so on the PC. After that (although I wouldn't be able to guess an order) it'd be Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Gold, FF8, FF9 and Fallout 3. There might even be a Guitar Hero game creeping in there somewhere. GH2, GH3, maybe one of the Rock Band games as well.

TF2, Fallout 3, Pokemon(all of them), Final Fantasy(all of them except 9 and X-2), and Jak(1 and 3) I couldn't tell you which one has take up more time for me. Though, to be honest it is probably between Final Fantasy 8(draw system) and any of the pokemon games.

Fallout 3: 147 hours on one character. (named Jimmy Wiggle-Pants)
Half-Life 2: Because of the hundreds of mods that come from it.
Oblivion: 67 hours, because I like making mods for it.

well it used to be CoD4, between the PC and the PS3 i have racked up over 800 hours (mainly PC) but ive kinda got bored (as is to be expected from playing a game for over a month solid) now im getting alot out of skate 2, i just enjoy finding new spots and spending hours trying to nail the perfect runthrough!

I'd say either Final Fantasy Tactics A2 or Monster Hunter Freedom Unite are the first that come to mind.
My main save in FFA2 where I did as many side missions as I could find has about 120 hours logged.
And my main character in MHFU has about 145 hours logged so far.

Though Fallout 3 likely trumps those, I've spent at least 50 hours a piece on each of my characters, and I lost track of my them somewhere around 7 or 8.

Multiplayer games, nothing would come close to Counterstrike.

Singleplayer game. I put roughly 100 hours into Final Fantasy Tactics A2 on the DS, and probably that again in the first one on GBA. Around the same time with Disgaea on PSP.

That being said, I've been playing different incarnations of Hack and Nethack for the past 17 years, and still play on occasion.

Eve-Online :). That game kicks ass but it need a really big amount of time to be spend for it to really get entertaining. Still... Its just a great experience to live, fight, trade, and communicate with 60 thousand people on 1 server.

I miss Eve...

Besides wow, counter-strike probably. But when my WoW time played is about 290 days (DAYS, meaning 24 hours times 290 = approx 7,000 hours) my CS game time isn't really worth mentioning :p. Some single player games I've put a lot of time into like certain ones in the FF series, MGS, morrowind and so on.

Why no WoW?
Its no less a game than any of the others mentioned.

WoW. How is it any different from any other game?
I believe the OP's intention was not to knock on WoW, but to encourage discussion on other games. A sizable number of us (myself included) enjoy WoW, but if he hadn't excluded it from "most time spent", the thread would probably end up looking something like, "WoW.WoW.WoW.WoW.WoW.CoD4.WoW.WoW.WoW.WoW.WoW.Starcraft.WoW.WoW.WoW.WoW.WoW......etc."
Accurate,yes, but boring thread.

OT, Oblivion or Baldur's Gate 2. Or possibly Myst. Definitely the Myst series. Long thinky-bits games made of patience, frustration, and concentrated win.

Technically PvZ. But thats the Zen Gardens fault. If youve played, you know what I mean.

Besides that, then Guild Wars, DDO, and Team Fortress 2 are all very possible competitors, with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance trailing a ways off. Guild Wars probably wins, because I know 1 character has well over 100 hours logged, and I have 10 characters.

Lets see, I had a kingdom hearts save file when I was younger with 100 and something hours, it was deleted and I made another file with possibly as much time. If its not that it'd be one of the ratchet and clank series. I had an addiction.
