L4D2 i often join random games if my friend aren't on, but i always seem to get a team of stoners or if I'm trying for an achievement and they deliberately mess it up or muck about the whole game, i just quit and try again.

modern warfare 2 (obviously when there are hackers around), World of warcraft (nothing's like losing warsong gulch to the horde for the 15th time all in ONE day) and counter strike I guess (gotta love those campers with magnum and auto shotguns around the corners)

Demon's Souls.
Having a enormous amount of souls being alive for the whole level, playing my best, arriving at the boss and being hit by the tip of his nose hair as he falls after being killed and losing everything. That and almost arriving at the boss's door and being blindsided by a dam soldier or grunt.

The whole game is a big Rage Quitting test, after you learn the game and master it in the slightest you feel an awesome badass.

Anything from the Call of Duty franchise, the Halo franchise... I never really rage-quit on singleplayer. I rage-quit because of other humans usually.

Far Cry (I've mentioned this recently on another thread)

One-hit-kill mutants + no quicksaves + no regenerating health = ragequits galore

Not that these are all necessarily terrible by themselves, but together they can drive you insane.

Dragon Age Origins, fuck you Orzrammar.
i quite at orzzamar the 1st time i played that, the second character i made i played through orzra with no problems, but that is definitely one of the coolest settings in the game, but its to damn complicated!

OT: Counterstrike, it took me a year and a half playing on a scrim team to get good at that game, and once i was good i stoped... i must half screamed FU! a million times at my computer, in pubs. that game is just to filled with pepole who play comp, you need to invest alot of time to get good.

As expected, Modern Warfare 2.

It's not the game, that's for sure. I mean, the local multiplayer is some of the best fun you can have in that game. It's the community. For the most part, it's filled with absolute morons, abusing cheap tactics and just being overall dicks.

And in the Veteran campaign, the mission Takedown. God DAMN that favela part.

Modern Warfare 2, it's either rage quit, throw your control at the TV or scream at your team mates... I like to take the civilized option.

I don't so much mind dying, it's the cheapness of some of the kills that gets to me =/

About a decade ago it was the first Everquest. Back in those days a death didn't mean "hey spend some pocket change from the 10 billion gold you have lying around to make everything better again." What it actually meant was "Hey, you remember the past 6 hours of your life? Well you may as well not because it's as if they don't exist anymore!" Combine that with dying because some asshole trained you or because you went linkdead (NO ONE misses dial-up internet).

These days, to be a little different than the previous posts, I'd have to say Rock Band. I tend to be a perfectionist, so getting through a difficult song and then blowing the fc in the last 20 seconds usually results in a broken instrument and blood on my walls.

NBA 2k9..who seriously thought

"You know what is wrong with basketball games? There is too much excitement, too much dunking! Let's tone this down some and make the game both boring AND frustrating!"
