That game is a love hate relationship... First you love it because it's pretty fun, if hard, then you keep playing and you get tired of it's BS, and then you hate it, but you hate it because you can't beat it and you feel like a chump, then you get really, really good at it and you feel pretty good about yourself and it and you love it again, then you hate it because you beat and have to beat it again with a crappier weapon, but when you finally decide that you can't let the game win and you finally beat it and get the true ending, you totally love it again for it's insane difficulty and making you feel like a pro-star for beating it.Forever of the Stars said:Stuff like that should be criminal. Unless it's voluntary, like trying to beat Chrono Trigger with only the character's original lay-outs and weapons.IHaveNoCoolness said:Super Ghouls N' Ghosts.
You play that game for hours and/or days memorizing every jump, monster, attack, weapon, etc. You finally reach the end, then you beat the boss and then the game gives you the biggest middle finger ever and tells you that you have to beat it... AGAIN and use this terrible weapon...
While that game may be one of the games that frustrated me the most, it's also the first time that beating a game actually made me feel proud that I beat it. I honestly felt more achievement beating that game than I did when I won a ribbon at the school track meet for triple jump and the 200m dash. I actually list that as one of my lifetime achievements.
Anyone who has played and beaten that game will agree that it's a worthy achievement to talk about.
