So I feel like Crimson skies: High road to revenge needed a sequel. And i wouldn't say no to another Time splitters saga. Or just an HD makeover for the Timesplitters trillogy.

I only wanted to be loved...

There was a game called Advent Rising. It wasn't a great game, though you did get a telekinesis power which you could use to throw bad guys into power conduits, but my problem is, it ended on a cliffhanger, and It never got a sequel. It was supposed to, but it didn't. They planned a trilogy, they didn't get one.

Then there's Tron 2.0. Underrated in my mind. Yes the acting was shit; but the environments were surreal; and the science was soft; and the plot was solid, yet ridiculous; and I for one loved it. But it ended with a lot of questions in the air with no sequel. What happened to the fCon trio? Who's the fCon CEO? Where the fuck is Flynn!? I'd be less pissed if it was considered part of the same canon as Tron Legacy, but it wasn't.

I miss that game. Where are those CDs!?
Tron 2.0 could've been wrapped up in an expansion, but Advent Rising is easily my biggest disappointment in terms of non-existant sequels. How big? The only reason I opened this thread was to wordsearch for 'Advent Rising' and add it if necessary.

Honestly, you could end it at the credit roll, but once that ending gets going... damn, I still want my sequel...

I would have to say Psychonauts and Eternal Darkness. They seem to exist only in my dreams.

Star Wars Battlefront 3
Rouge Trooper 2 (ends with the biggest cliffhanger in history...AND ITS NEVER EXPLAINED!)

I'm still waiting for Homeworld 3.

That being said, I'm worried that if they do start working on it, they'll stuff it up in the name of "accessibility" by, for example, perhaps removing the 3D movement and making it more akin to a 2D plane similar to that of Sins of a Solar Empire (and yes, I'm aware that Sins isn't exactly 2D but it's very, VERY close).

Oh well. I'll still have the amazing and almost perfect Homeworld 2 to fall back on... OH WAIT, apparently it has massive issues running on more recent hardware.

As much as I love Tron: Legacy, I'd love to see Mercury and Jet again. I know they can't include the whole of Tron 2.0 into the Legacy timeline, but still... There's no reason that the characters of Jet, Mercury, and maybe even MA3A couldn't be integrated somehow. Altered back-story, sure, but still integrated. Also, maybe Dillinger's son trying to sell the company to fCon?

Age of Mythology 2

The Age of Empires series was awesome. The second one is the game that got me into gaming in the first place. But AoM was the coolest RTS I ever played, I like the setting and the game mechanics. :) Too bad Ensemble Studios got closed and now we have this Age of Empires Online abomination...

Age of Mythology 2: awesome game, want to see more of it.
Holy crap, yes! There are plenty more mythologies to work with. Eastern mythologies, various Native American mythologies, from Aztec to Inca to any other tribes, African mythologies, etc. Plenty to work with.

I'll open myself up for hate and be one of the only ones to say that I dream they'd finish the Legacy of Kain series. And for those who somehow believe that they completed the story... you're on crack. Get help.

INVENTING QTE
QTE has been around since the days of Dragon's Lair. Right up until the mid-90's there were Full-Motion Video (FMV) games which were nothing but long QTE sequences that advanced the pre-rendered graphics along one (and only one) set path. Can you believe that people actually played those games for fun? I actually really liked Road Avenger, back in the day...

Anyway, back on-topic. Three words: Mirror's Edge 2.

Starcraft Ghost. I was honestly pretty excited for it

They could still do this...

I don't know why they don't...

I will forever resent Blizzard because of this.

Blood really deserved a proper sequel. Blood II: The Chosen was just... ugh...
Its' only redeeming qualities were Caleb (of course), and Gideon, and Gideon mainly because he was the dumbest villain ever.

Star Wars: Republic Commando (just imagining a sequel with the Frostbite 2 engine makes me weak in the knees)

Command and Conquer: Generals (I know its not the best C&C game, but I really liked it)

Populous: the Beginning (I would give a lot to see a modern version of Populous, I loved this game)

Knights of the Old Republic 3 would have been lovely. The Old Republic is too detached from the KOTOR games story to really be a sequel to me.
agreed. kotor was the game that really got me into gaming (and nerd culture) in the first place... such a shame that we'll never see the end to Revan's story.

Fallout 3. The original one. The Bethesda one should have been Fallout 4. Someone already said Van Buren, so for the whole five people that know what that is, that's what I'm talking about.

Oh, and +1 to anyone who said Arcanum 2. Also the Gamma World game that Trokia was working on when it went under.

Actually, can we just resurrect Trokia?

Oh so many...

MegaMan X9
MegaMan Legends 3
Legend of Dragoon 2
Knights of the Old Republic 3
Chrono Trigger 3 (yeah, I know Chrono Cross didn't really leave opening for another sequel, but a man can dream...)
Warcraft 4. (just kinda gave up on it, didn't you, Blizzard?)
Guild Wars: Utopia. (would've been epic, but I suppose GW2 is worth it).
Jedi Knight 3
Descent 3
Mechwarrior 5 (although there's a new game coming so... /crossfingers)
A DS game about kitties that doesn't suck. Where's the promised "Nintencats", Nintendo?
A good Transformers game. (War for Cybertron was ok. Now do that, but better.)
Did I hear you wanted confirmation about Warcraft 4 being made?
