There was a game called Advent Rising. It wasn't a great game, though you did get a telekinesis power which you could use to throw bad guys into power conduits, but my problem is, it ended on a cliffhanger, and It never got a sequel. It was supposed to, but it didn't. They planned a trilogy, they didn't get one.

Then there's Tron 2.0. Underrated in my mind. Yes the acting was shit; but the environments were surreal; and the science was soft; and the plot was solid, yet ridiculous; and I for one loved it. But it ended with a lot of questions in the air with no sequel. What happened to the fCon trio? Who's the fCon CEO? Where the fuck is Flynn!? I'd be less pissed if it was considered part of the same canon as Tron Legacy, but it wasn't.

I miss that game. Where are those CDs!?

2001: It was a game to be set in prehistoric times where you were to lead a group of cavemen through life and get them to safety. Peter Molyneux was coming off of Black and White and it was going to be his next big thing.

Hopefully it will still come out soon, apparently it might have been revived in 2010.

The two Full Throttle sequels that were canceled. I loved that game, and a new installment would make me very happy.

Well so far it's LEGEND OF GOD DAMN DRAGOON FOR THE GOD DAMN PLAYSTATION NETWORK OUTSIDE OF JAPAN. (I'm expecting it for christmas...because it was released last year on christmas)

Or Suikoden 6. 3-5 are kind of let downs compared to the first two, but 3 and 5 were still decent.

Uhm... Phantasy star 5? or Shining Force 3. Because A: PS went to "PS:Online" and Shining force 3 has 3 parts, and only 1 part was released in Ameriuca.
Those sega genesis and master system collections that were released a while back have all three on them, or you can buy them off of steam as well now. As for me, a sequal to Vagrant Story, but knowing Square Enix's sequels it wouldn't have lived up to the original and only being kind of good at best.

Freespace 2 should have had a sequel.

Or at least Freespace 3, dealing with the same universe.

Best space-combat sim EVER. ._.

With out a doubt, it is Shenmue 3. Sure I love the Yakuza games and am eagerly anticipating the fifth and 'Of The End' (Though we don't get Kenzan ever :( ) but Shenmue 2 was the first game that staggered me visually. Add to that the aesthetic, the plot, the combat INVENTING QTE (however much they're overused now it was big news on the Dreamcast) plus a genuinely likeable protagonist.

Also, Beyond Good and Evil 2. Technically it's "under developement", but it sure is taking its dear sweet time getting here
The creator said his team is waiting for the next generation of consoles because it's so ambitious.

And of course, the scope of Beyond Good & Evil is large ? you?ve got the city, the ocean, the moon and the space ship. But the space ship was designed to go from planet to planet, and it was frustrating to have those limitations. And my thing is that we really want to make the game that was previously imagined, with all this feeling of traveling. Mass Effect did a good job on that side, and I think that there are a lot of things to do to continue in that direction, with storytelling and a massive world.

GR: Is that why it won?t appear on the current generation of consoles?

MA: Yeah, yeah. That?s the reason.

Megaman Legends 3. It was one of the reasons I was going to get a 3DS, then Capcom decided they needed to remake a less than half year old game.

I'm still waiting for "The Last Guardian" (The ending of the Trico saga). It's been MIA for awhile.......hope it doesn't go Starcraft:Ghost on us.

Darkwatch II. I recall the developers stating they were making it, but it was never released(or even put into development, if memory serves me right).

A sequel to The World Ends With You would be nice. I had heard that they were planning on a sequel but didn't really know when they would get around to it.

Chrono the next one.

Seriously, Chrono Trigger was one of the finest experiences I have ever had the pleasure of having in my time as a human being. Its only real flaw was that is ended.

This. It gets worse with the fact that MvC fans keep on trolling the MM fans and Capcom is letting them do it, yet saying its a dick move to release UMvC3 so shortly after the originals release is a bannable offense.

Dungeon Keeper 3

I really liked this game, especially DK2. There is a modern DK clone (it's called Dungeon Lord/Dungeons or something like that), but it doesn't seem to be good.

Age of Mythology 2

The Age of Empires series was awesome. The second one is the game that got me into gaming in the first place. But AoM was the coolest RTS I ever played, I like the setting and the game mechanics. :) Too bad Ensemble Studios got closed and now we have this Age of Empires Online abomination...

Mirror's Edge 2.

It was a good, not amazing game, yet was just so hauntingly beautiful that I felt a little depressed when it had to end. I need a sequel, or at least a game with the exact same art scheme.
