Which game/sequel are you most disappointed never happened?

die by the sword 2 (fps where the mouse controlled your sword arm. hack, slash, parry, block, do it all w/a free form arm control. could literally cut off someones arm, pick it up, then finish them off w/it. hehe.)- the expansion bombed or something so then everyone was scared to touch the franchise after that. Rune was supposed to be a spiritual successor, but the controls were what made die by the sword cool and rune didn't have that most important of elements (not that rune was awful or anything, it just wasn't a successor to die by the sword).

Hm, I guess I'm in the minority here but I really would have liked to see a sequel to Alpha Protocol. Yes, Obsidian makes things with a ton of bugs, but I really enjoyed that game and thought it could be interesting with a little more polish and a better voice actor for Michael Thornton (seriously, I've never heard a bigger asshole in my entire life)

Starcraft Ghost. I was honestly pretty excited for it

Go watch the cinematics for it. The story was, perplexingly, outsourced. It turned out to be garbage, and had this ridiculous "Starship Troopers" air developing about it. Not a little either, but a straight rip.

That's one of the main reasons it was shut down. I'd like to see SC:Ghost too, but not THAT SC:Ghost.

For me, the game I was most disappointed not to see was Nexus TJI 2. The first game was a masterpiece.

could be pretty interesting as well. Jade Empire wasn't perfect but I liked that it did things a bit differently from the norm.

Arcanum 2 would have been amazing. They even had the plot all worked out when Troika went under. Was going to be a journey to the center of the earth stylized plot. I would actually even be content if the rights were given to Bethesda(*shudder*) and they made the sequel. I just want more of it, even if they fuck up the leveling system and the writing and voice acting isn't as good as the original.

It was one of the funniest game I ever played! The gameplay was really good too! Its a shame they didn't continue it, they could have done so much more!

They already made this... they just did a dumb "reboot" by dropping the number at the end. Also basically no one I know liked it because it was a consolified piece of trash.

A new legacy of Kain game that finishes off the story and more importantly Crash team racing 2, yes there was Crash Nitro kart by a different developer but the thing is that was bloody awful.
Also a new Darkstalkers would be nice so I hope they make that happen.

Edit: I read the thread wrong (It is 3 am here in Pittsburgh). Since Red Dead Redemption put me in a bit of a western kick I'd like a sequel to GUN. It was planned but never released. Also The console version of the first Witcher game. Also planned but no release. And Jade Empire 2 please!!!
