Which game should be a big budget movie production?

As long as Uwe Boll doesn't direct it, I'd say Assassin's Creed would make a pretty cool movie. And I didn't like Assassin's Creed at all (but that was the gameplay not the story).

Edit: I would say Mass Effect but there is too much to fit into one movie to make any coherent sense. Maybe if they took each sub-mission as it's own movie but then it would lose the epicness of it, so...meh.

None. If a story in a video game is good I don't need a movie remake to enjoy it.
I see absolutely no reason for video game adaptations.

Besides, Hollywood is making enough remakes as it is, we certainly don't need more of them.

I'm still waiting on a second Max Payne movie. Nicole Horn was totally set up as being a bigger bad-guy than she was in the movie and, Vinnie wasn't in that movie at all.

As for another game, a different game, needing a movie...Obscure. It was the first thing to come to mind and it was similar to other horror movies that came out around the 90's. Maybe Scre4m is trying to tell us it's alright to bring back those kinds of Horror movies. If so, bring in Obscure.

Or, if you want a horror movie that would be to VG movies what House of 1,000 Corpses was to horror films in general: The Suffering. That would make for a pretty brutal flick.

Seriusly i would say Halo , Starcraft, Mass Effect(even though the are like playing in a movies)
Crysis (pure 80s action with a soldier in a nanosuit, whats not to like)
Call of Duty:Modern Warfare series

But its hard to make movies of a game because we gamers expect it to be as good as the game! Wich is seriusly hard accomplish

However something a bit 'better' I think I agree with the OP. A Horus-Heresy CGI movie or mini-series would be...how do you put it...glorious.
