I was not trying to get under your skin with my post. I was just adding to the conversation. Nowhere did I see a sign that says "no disagreeing with people's ideas!"
And the reason for me not explaining why I didn't like the game is because you've made it more than clear from the get-go that you actually have no interest in why I didn't like it. You're just mad because someone has a different opinion of a game than you do, so no matter how thoroughly I were to review the game and my grievances with it, you'd still be annoyed and take jabs about how I'm shitting on your favorite game. Therefore I see no reason to take extra time out of my day to do so as you'd clearly show the same level of disdain for my opinion as you do now.
Perhaps I've been looking at this whole thing wrong; I suppose I was just curious as to why you felt the need to say this:

Ugh, is there like an anti-preorder option? Can I sign up to tell Sony and Sucker Punch that I will never buy that game? inFamous is probably the last game on earth that deserves a sequel.
in the first place. To me, it felt like you were attacking a game I liked for no good reason, which, in turn, felt like you were trying to start a fight with me personally, as if I had not suggested that InFamous deserved a sequel, you most likely would not have posted the above response at all, correct?
But maybe you weren't attacking me, or the game for that matter. Maybe you felt unhappy with your purchase, so you wanted me, a fan of the game, to convince of how enjoyable it was, to make you feel better about having bought it. Or maybe you were simply doing a social experiment to see the effect of doing the exact opposite of what the thread asked for, by offering a contrary opinion and stating a game that you felt did
not deserve a sequel, when the thread's topic was for games that do. Perhaps I'm looking much too far into this, and you simply stated your disdain for the game to get a conversation going.
I guess, in the end, I can't really know for sure why you did it, which brings me to the conclusion that
you couldn't possibly know why
I responded to you. I know it seems like I just don't like people with contrary opinions to mine, and though that may be true, I actually would very much like for you to offer the reasons that you didn't like the game. Before you do though, I must warn you that I will more than likely offer counter points, in the hopes of getting you to like the game, since, as you've said, there is a double standard in the liking/hating of games, and if I can sway you to at least being neutral towards it, I will most certainly try.
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, by the way, and I hope that we can continue this conversation in a less hostile manner, which admittedly, probably did come mostly from me, as I wanted so badly for you to see what I saw in the game. Even if you can't though, I would like your in-depth opinion, so I can perhaps take it into consideration in my own views on the game.
