So far, I've bought KOTOR, Plants vs Zombies, and Hoard for $3 each, and Fable 3 for $25. I was about 15 minutes too late to get Just Cause 2 at that huge discount, but I think I'll be busy enough for the next few months.

Huh, I thought I'd bought more than that.

Surprisingly nothing yet, I've had my fill of sales for the year already...unless Alpha Protocol goes on sale...or Dragon Age.

I'm downloading, liek, a million demos to see which ones I can run. I'm playing this thing by ear.
What I'm hoping for is a bunch of RTS games... Dawn of War 2 in paticular...

Uhh, lets see:
Braid
Terraria
Total War: Shogun 2
Dawn of war II: Chaos Rising
Dawn of war II: Retribution

And there's still seven more days to go!

...I'm going to be broke for the rest of the month by July 11th.

I hope Terraria gets a deep discount, I'd definitely buy it then.

I tried S2TW, I loved the campaign map, but the battle interface was unusable for me. Groups were hard to distinguish and the minimap was in an awkward place. If not for that, I would have bought it yesterday. Guess it's back to M2 for me (not like that's a bad thing, though).

I'm really jealous right now. I don't have a decent PC and looking through the discounts makes me want to go on a massacre of anyone who can buy them!

So far not one of the games that have been on sale have interested me, I'm sure that'll change by the time the sale is over though.

Really hoping for GTA IV or Halflife 2: Episode one.

Do what I did. Buy 'em anyway. I got TF2 for $2.50, and then figured out how to get it to work on a Mac without dual-booting.
And then they came out with an official Mac version, and then it wasn't as amusing to go, "I am dominating you on a macbook with a trackpad" any more...

But still, eventually you'll have a computer that can play these games, and the sales are so ridiculous sometimes that you'll never get 'em for that price within the next five years under normal pricing. If you have $20 to burn, I could see much worse things to use it on than multiple games with an insane discount.

That being said, I'm not really in the market to spend money on a clear conscience because everything's gone to medical Hell for my family this week. But the good news? its not cancer.

I spent £5 total to buy both Plants vs Zombies and Bioshock 2. Not bad, I say.

Hoard, Daggerdale, Back to the Future, Magicka DLCs, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (first time in 3 years the price has gone down!), Call of Cthulu, Longest Journey & Dreamfall, Test Drive Unlimited 2...and it's only 3 days in :-( Oh and I bought Borderlands GOTY as a gift for a friend.

Gonna be an expensive 2 weeks. My only solace is that I probably have the majority of games I want already. Now the question, what to do with my 3 tickets...I'm thinking either the Audi for TDU2 or the extra sector for X3...

Steam offers a fantastic buy now, play later scheme. You can buy the game now then play them when you do have a PC worthy of installing them onto.

You asked, and Valve have answered. Halflife Complete [http://store.steampowered.com/sub/715/]. GTA Complete [http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4466/].
