I know not every game is mix platform and I can only pick 1 console for my birthday. I have a wii and a 360 but not sure whether to get a psp go or ps3. I would like to know which has better games. I'm leaning towards ps3 for uncharted 2. What do you think?

Uh oh.

Frankly, it's all up to you. Pick the console that has the most games that interest you.

Ps3 is my pic, but as mentioned above it really is a matter of opinion.

Also, the word is 'know' not 'no', if you wish to be a succesful Escapist you must learn to have better grammar.

You should get the PS3. Uncharted, Disgaea 3, God of War 3 (when it comes out), The Last Guardian (When it comes out). You'll be preoccupied and happy.

The psp is good, yes, but you should get it second, not first. I already have a PSP and will be getting a PSP go November (I have a 360, don't have a PS3). Disgaea: Afternoon of darkness is quite good. Disgaea 2 and Prinny will keep me busy for so damn long...

Read the posting rules and guidelines.

And you are going to get a lot of "report and move on" with this thread, because vs. threads are frowned upon, especially console ones.

Yeah, uh oh.

Just kidding, I think I am going to be buying a PS3 soon.
He will be friends with my 360.
And both will be bitches to my PC.

Get a PS3. It has inFamous, Resistance, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, MGS4 if you like that sort of thing, and upcoming God of War 3 and The Last Guardian.

Sorry, normally I have exceptional grammar. I check for spell check lines before every post but no is a word. Sorry won't happen (Consciously) again. If I can become respected on CEF I can do that here.

I went with the Xbox-360 and I've only had to send it to Texas to get fixed once. If you think thats bad enough to warrent buying a more reliable PS3 go ahead. But if you do buy an X-box 360 for the love of all that is good make sure that you take care of the warrenty first.

Its really up to you. I bought the PS3 because of the continuing series of games like Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo 5, games that were on the PS2 that I liked. Thats was my motive.

Man for a second I thought this was a 360 vs PS3 thread..

Id say PSP. I have the oldest version and its still pretty cool. Games, music, internet. All that stuff. And if you already have another console you might as well just get something that is handheld. Thats just my opinion though.

Ok unless you guys can't read which obviously some of you can't let me reiterate. I own a 360 and wii! Stop suggesting I get a 360.

I'd imagine the PS3 to be fundamentally better as a console, so my suggestion is to only get the PSP if you're out of the house often. I can't really give an honest judgement, that's just how it's worked in the past, in my opinion.

A gaming PC.

A PS2.

A PSP modded to have full PS1 backwards compatability (I think only the 1000s could do that? Never owned a PSP myself, though my older brother did.)

A SNES.

A Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

A Nintendo DS Lite with an R4 cart, you dirty, dirty pirate.

I think this is a valid thread seeing that you actually have a dilemma of sorts you want help with. But try to spell check your thread before posting it.

I would say PSPgo just because it's so damn sexy.

I bought my PS3 for two reasons; Gaming and DVD/BD player. So from a purely gaming perspective my opinion does not hold merit.

Having said that, Uncharted 2 looks sweet.

If you read the opening post through, I'm sure you will find that even though this is a vs. thread, it isn't a flame/fanboy arousing one. Besides, the vs. is between PS3 and PSPgo; Sony vs. Sony.

i really don't think you'd be using it as much as a ps3 if you got it
Dude Anthony have you seen the demos of the GO? It is good and slightly crackable and you know I love H4Xing. I also like the removal of the umd.
