I am deliriously happy as an adult without much living space with a DS. But that is because I think that what kids are playing nowadays is scary and different.

go with the ps3, then blackmail your uncle. Tell him that if he doesnt buy you a psp go then you will tell everyone that he shoved his hand down your pants when you were 5. The best part about it is everyone wins. You get both the ps3 and the psp go and your uncle doesnt go to prison. Plus, IF you pull it off you might be able to play the same card in the future for whatever you want. It's always an option, just think about it.
Do you really need to play games all the time? I say get the home console and do something else with the time you aren't sat on your couch.
