seriously, sounds vanilla, but that god is such a badass. first off, he talks like hes multiple people, second, he has a rorschach style sense of justice, and his son is pretty crazy in the parts of the bible they dont want you to know about (basically a mini, human version of him)

oh, and that time he summoned an undead army for ezekiel. That kicks ass.

If we're doing intentionally fictional deities. I'd say Slaanesh encapsulates all the best things about being a deity.

Slaanesh is the God of hedonism and excess. But this is true in all things, not just carnal pleasures. Those who desire to indulge in the finest culinary delights, the most beautiful artworks, even the most sensual clothing, could all be amongst Slaanesh?s disciples. Just as importantly, Slaanesh is also the God of perfection. The singer striving for the most beautiful song or the warrior who seeks the perfect fighting techniques, both could be devotees of Slaanesh.

Pretty much just sums up exactly what kind of religion I'd follow.

I've gotta say that even as a Christian that both Aphrodite and Slaanesh sound appealing. If I were a none believer looking for a God/Godess to worship it would be one or both of those

I think Odin was probably the coolest
I like the whole idea of Karma and reincarnation the most as a real life thing
overall the Greek Pantheon felt the most godly and awesome to me.

Well as a Christian I should probably go for my own god but that'd be cheating... plus he's great and everything but the ancient Jews weren't as good at storytelling as the Vikings or Egyptians. I'll go for Odin I think. He rides around on a spider horse and everything he does, up to an including his death by being eaten by a giant demonic wolf is just plain awesome.
