Human, because I have no intention of playing co-op. I like my games immersive, so other real people playing with me is a big no-no.

Can you play as an Elcor.
Explanatory.
I find that race interesting.

I wanted to play a Salarian Biotic, but apparently if those leaked Beta images are to be believed Salarians can only be engineers or infiltrators.
According to the Codex, Salarian biotics are very rare and don't generally leave the homeworld, being considered too valuable to risk on things like military missions or the citadel.

Thus, they wouldn't send a valuable Salarian biotic into the combat zones associated with the Multiplayer. Hence why you can't play one.
That's part of the reason I wanted to play one, although I thought it said something like Salarian Biotics were usually members of the STG, and that made it make sense for me to be one. The STG is probably involved with the war, anyway, why not send the best? Oh well.

Krogan. For the sole reason of charging while screaming "I AM KROGAN!!".

Also a Quarian, but I'll probably end up playing almost everything. It really depends on what class I want to play, considering it seems the races are tied to the classes.

Resurrection ahoy! (don't hurt me...it's better than to create a new thread and make people complain that I didn't use the search function...)

Quarian if i can... loved the race since ME1
You know...I was excited about that too, though torn between a Quarian or a Salarian engineer...but according to the list on the wiki ( http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_3_Multiplayer ) and a certain article ( http://www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news-9954-Mass-Effect-3-Co-Op-Hands-On-Preview-%E2%80%93-For-the-Good-of-the-Galaxy-.html ) it seems you won't...which surprised me considering those leaked pictures that I for some reason can no longer find. :p
Oh well, Salarian it is then.

As they say there...never say never. Which might tie into the above thing about Quarians too, they may not be in the original game (?ushed aside in favour of the Drell I suppose. Really, the Drell are more popular than the Quarians!? Or is it just that the Quarians are popular enough that they want to seel them to players via DLC? ) but appear in DLC...though an Elcor still sounds weird to me.

Heh, though it would be kind of fun to have one of those slow things plod about with a freaking cannon atop his back blasting anything in sight...and then have a Hanar infiltrator sneak up on enemy snipers and neutralize them with their poisons so they'll be easy to strangle...man that game would be weird.

Anyway...has anyone considered how these races and classes will play out yet? I mean every class has a human male and female, plus two other races,if those disappeared pictures were anything to go by. (which they might not, considering they seem to be gone...)
To me it feels like the humans will play the same, it's basically a skin shift between the genders so you can play with what you're comfortable with. And I'm going to guess they'll occupy some sort of middle-ground, the balanced one within their class, while the other two alternatives is more on the extremes.
Take the soldier for example, the humans will, if my theory is correct, be used on medium range with avengers and the odd shotgun shot, relying on flexibility and movement. Meanwhile the Krogan soldier will be up close with nearly only the shotgun and his own body-mass as a weapon, that while a Turian soldier might be at the back using either a sniper rifle or the more accurate Vindicator rifle.
These roles are of course up for modification when one unlocks various pieces of equipment. (Mattock for the humans, anyone? )

So...any other theories out there? Or anyone that has some solid information?
