Another vote for ridding the world of 9GAG itself here.

The site is just a pastebin of creations blatently stolen off other websites, often from those who work their websites as a full-time profession. Yes, I know the "users" submit the work, but the site is designed with this in mind and the webmasters damned well know it and support it. I also realise that the site contains a lot of generic "add caption to customise" meme images, yet for some reason, every last one I see go popular or go viral aren't of that cheap n' quick variety.

So yeah, 9GAG. Theivery from the artists most vulnerable in society. Why is 9GAG "acceptable" but piracy is not? It's really got to go.

Religion; it's the only meme anyone's ever tried to make me join in with.

You never said it had to be an internet meme.

But on the whole I'm okay with internet memes as I have the option of ignoring them.

All of them. They're absolutely cancerous to creating worthwhile discussion, original content, and lead to the creation of complete cesspits of communities like reddit and 9gag. Some things are just meant to be funny for one thread then forgotten, not flogged to exhaustion then sold on tshirts and mugs.

Thank God the fandom is dying out.
Oh, yay, a hater. Just because you dislike something doesn't mean you have to throw bile at its very existence.
Wait, I forgot my flame shield.

Alright, all bronies, give me your best shot.

Yeah, gonna have to go with Dolan. Just... unpleasant.
Amgeo pls. Dolan actualy is so fon.

On topic...i'd get rid of the "song of my people" memes. It's a meme which isn't clever, funny or heartwarming, like good guy greg, it's like a bad rage comic.

Dude, we're in the millions. If Equestria Daily is anything to go by, seeing as it's gotten fucking over 500 million views! There's a lot of us, probably much more than most smaller religions.
500 million different viewers or the same group viewing it 500 million times? Like, a group of 50 million looking at 100 times. Because I know I've been there multiple times.
Probably the second, but still that's a LOT of people. How I see it, I look at the amount of really talented artists, music makers and writers in the fandom then think, "that's just the tiniest sample in a sea of people".

Also don't listen to that other guy, 3 posts and all of them have been flame baiting posts.

Saw that image macro coming from a mile away.

*Loads pistol*
But can love and toleration stop a bullet to the head?

Depends on whether you really have a pistol, tough guy. Love and tolerance can certainly make one immune to internet-borne bullets... just not these [http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182/loc978/posters/takinghumanlives.jpg].

OT:
"Make me a sammich [http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/make-me-a-sandwich-make-me-a-sammich]."

Even though it's occasionally used to make fun of lazy misogynists, a majority of the time it gets played straight involving one fandom or another. At first I took it as ironic every time, now I'm not so sure. I'm still having a hard time believing just how many kids are actually serious about this one. Just who is educating these people?

Absolutely buggering none of them. I have yet to see a meme that I get sick of or just dislike, I never understood all the people getting pissy about "arrow in the knee." I don't find all of them funny, I just go "meh" and move on. Simples.
Mostly this. But if I had to choose one, I'd go with the template meme thingy, the dual/tri colour background that looks like an umbrella. Those always looked stupid to me, but as the above posted said, I don't get sick of them, just say meh and go about my business. Besides, I don't tend to hang out around meme-related sites too much, only see them in conversation and when someone links them on Facebook, Twitter or sends/shows them to me. And since those basically come from friends, they're usually funny ones :)
