Which MMORPG do you play?

I beta tested Star Trek Online and played it. (Load of crap) I'll never speak of it again.

I tried EVE Online (but it's terribly dull)

Star Wars Galaxies is still my favourite MMO. I always play Traders or non combat characters when available and no game does a trading system or player housing as good as Star Wars Galaxies. Plus lots of players are now returning and new players are joining all the time, so that's good. Rumours that it's dead are just lies.

It's good to hear it's still going somewhat well. I just don't have enough time to justify the monthly fee at the moment. I tried to talk them into offering a lifetime sub fee when I was the Munitions Senator, but I never got a response (not really the devs choice anyways).

I play LoTRO because I bought a lifer back when it first came out, but SWG is my first love and by far the one that I spent the most time in.

I want to be Domestics Senator. That profession really needs help.

EQ2 - been subbed to an EQ game ever since 1999

I pop in and out of other games from time to time like DAOC, Warhammer, WoW, Darkfall and so on but really only enjoy the lore and world of EQ, EQ2 for MMOs

Also play Allods from time to time.. its a really solid F2P game.

I played SWG.
I am still playing WoW.

I have tried Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, and Aion. I didn't enjoy them for the most part.

So I'll stick with WoW until SW:TOR comes out, or Blizzard publishes their new MMO - but that won't be for years.

I play Guild Wars, but have a rather odd playing schedule.

See, I pick up the game and am all "Wow, this is super duper fun!" and play for three or so hours a day and do every quest I can possibly find in the beginning area. Then the Charr invade, and I just completely lose interest in the game.

So I put it down for a month or two. Then I see it on my Steam list, and think "Hmm. Maybe I should play this again, I remember it being fun." So I delete my past character and make a new one, rinse and repeat.

So I've never gotten past level 7, or the second Post-Charr story quest since I just lost interest. One of these days I'm going to commit myself to playing for a couple weeks or months and finally beating the story, since I bought the trilogy during a massive sale for $20.

Everquest - played for 4 hours and stopped, most boring game ever

Starwars Galaxies - Sucked. I want to choose to be a jedi, not hope it randomly gets unlocked

FF11 - not enough english speaking people to make it fun... Keep in mind I speak fluent japanese.

Planetside - The most fun I have ever had in a shooter or an MMO. This game was brilliant. I was so sad to see it go.

City of Heros - played while in the wow beta, was fun for the first 10 levels

World of warcraft - I still play this, but, very very casually (I raid with successful pugs and focus more on learning all classes in the game and not just one). I enjoy leveling, ever since the game went gear based and not skill based, raiding sucks. Pre BC and even some of BC stuff was awesome, but, I was very let down in Wotlk. Raiding in WotLK consists of, stay out of fire, press 3-5 buttons in order, stay out of fire.

Warhammer - pile of steaming crap. worst money I ever spent.

Aion beta - no fun at all.

Star Trek Online - total crap. not fun.

Im looking forward to WOW cataclysm because I like the design and leveling of wow. I have never played an alliance character (Been playing since beta) and will probably start fresh with a level 1 worgan.

Also looking forward to the upcoming KoTR MMO.

I've played a trial of LOTRO, will definitely come back when it goes F2P.

There's also Runescape, which I come back to every now and then. That's about it.

Edit:I once played an MMORPG called Knight Online. Lots of bad memories from that one.

I use to play a lot of WoW. I enjoyed grinding out achievements, raiding, pretty much the whole nine yards. The only reason I quit playing was cause I noticed it was starting to affect my social life. Do I miss it? Yes, will I go back? I hope not. Cataclysm looks very sick however I know if I start up again I will just end up going down the same road.

So I think I will stick with TF2 and wait it out for Diablo 3.

Played WoW from Vanilla, lost interest over a year ago and finally quit. I am currently waiting for The Old Republic, because I have a great amount of confidence in Bioware's game making abilities.
