Pretty much most things that market themselves as comedy. Love Guru, Borat, All the ____ Movie movies and anything by those people. Hell, it took my friends forever to convince me to see Tropic Thunder just because of the genre it was in. It was good, but it took a lot of convincing that I wasn't going to hate it.
After that, it is open game. Seriously. The last movie I have had time to watch was something called, and I shit you not, Sharks in Venice (as in Italy, btw). That was hilariously awful, including staring Stephen Baldwin. The next movie I am looking at renting is My Name is Bruce, an action film about a zombie invasion where the main character is Bruce Campbell. Bad movies are hilarious.

ANYTHING with Ben Stiller. If he is in it, even for a second or even just in the titles, I will not watch it.
This but with Will Farrel. Stupid, unfunny idiot that man is.
You are my new hero. Will Farrel is not that funny. If anyone disagrees with me "BRING ON THE FLAME"
Normally I'd agree, especially when it comes to Anchorman, but I did adore Blades of Glory :D

Wow. I'm in physics one and I just realized how funny that first example is. I think Newton's Third Law requires something to give that equal and opposite reaction...something not found in space.
The Third Law allows for the shuttle to reach space and for it to change speed and direction with rockets and thrusters once there. However, the First Law ensures that it will retain speed and direction until infinity, unless of course some force affects them. Gravity of planets and moons is ridiculously easy to anticipate these days and unless the hypothetical shuttle happens to hit something physically, the aforementioned gravity is pretty much the only thing it has to care about.

Which makes any clip of space craft with burning engines in space quite hilarious if they are not supposed to accelerate.

That is part of the reason why Ion-propulsion engines might be a viable engine for satellites and probes in the near future: the amount of fuel required is ridiculously small because the propulsion is produced by charged ions. Problem is that the acceleration is slow as heck, what with subatomic particles not having much mass to speak of. But if you have...say 5 years of time for that constant acceleration with nothing slowing you down... well, the speeds are beginning to look viable. Problem is naturally that it can't do any drastic course-changes.

They've even tested prototypes and they work. But with the Ion engines the mass of the spacecraft plays an important role in the acceleration curves, so I doubt we'll be seeing such engines on anything designed to hold a man inside.

Just an F-Y-I.

- High School Musical
- Twilight
- Michael Bay flicks (if I can help it, I did see the Transformers flicks and was embarrassed for the industry)
- the wave of new parody flicks

Saw franchise - it's dumb and senseless
Twilight - it's dumb and teenager-ish
Titanic - the film sucks, and EVERYONE knows how it ends, so there's no point in watching it

I love what David Mitchell said about the film: "Hmmm...a film about a duo of lovers on the Titanic! Well, the titanic sinks, so I WONDER WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEM (/sarcasm) Oh look, the woman is narrating, so clearly she survives. Well, I'll be!, the chap died? Didn't see THAT coming!"

Oh, and I saw "Sunshine" once, and I refuse to ever see it again

I've lodged it to Brussels as a violation of my human rights, it's under fierce debate right now as to whether it should be banned under the Torture Act

Twilight, I tried I really did but it comes across as being pretentious wank.
This. I haven't seen it or read the book, but I've heard enough from people who have to know that it's seriously messed up.

This seems relevant: http://www.cracked.com/article/194_7-popular-chick-flicks-that-secretly-hate-women/

Titanic. I'm not wasting three hours of my life on something that messes up the history that badly.
I can't imagine how Cameron's pitch sounded.
<quote=JC>Well, uh, I was thinking, we should take one of the worst civilian disasters of the last century and add a generic love story to it!

At least it's not as bad as a movie with a half a billion dollar budget that's about the bloody Smurfs.

On topic... anything with Tom Cruise, John Travolta, or horror stories based on "a true story", or claiming that "this is real footage".

Chick flicks. Hates them. So very much.

The sequels to Pulse, The Grude 3 and all Twilight films after the first one. I didn't enjoy it, but I've seen it. Bah.

Oddly though, I can stand all Pattinson's other movies.

I have a few friends who are dancers. Having never seen a dance movie, I always felt like I've seen a million of them. And then, at a party, my friend played Stomp The Yard, and it was confirmed that I knew exactly how dance movies work despite only ever seeing one in my life.

I do not ever have to waste my time on any other dance movies so long as I live.

Anything based off a book I've read before, because they cut out alot of the good details.
And the Twilight movies, for other reasons. Anything else I'll give a chance though.
I'm curious now. Have you read/seen "Lord of the Rings"? It seems like the most obvious one to ask.

OP: Twilight series, Parody movies with "movie" in the name. Disaster movies, Movies with Jason Statmen (sp?, Will Farell or Jack Black in them as the lead, remakes that I've seen the orignal of and finally cross-franchise movies.
