Not to forget the huge benefits in transportation and freedom of movement. I mean, who the hell would drive if you could sit down and travel that 20 miles to work in a few minutes!? It's ridiculous! At least if you walk it you miss most of your working day!

Maniacs and their cars, pft.

Cell phones. I don't like to be able to be contacted at any time, and people get mad at me if I turn the thing off.

Motorcycles. They're loud and the motorcyclists who ride between the lanes at 25 MPH over the speed limit bug the hell out of me. If they just rode them as if they were a car, I'd be mostly okay with them.

The toliet seat. What the actual hell. I mean, it just gives us yet another thing to argue about, or at least, it does when my brothers are home.

That lable you get which is impossible to remove properly and leave a massive sticky residue behind once its off. I had one on my air rifle and it was a pain in the ass to get off, and dirt stuck to all the glue afterward.
Steam can help remove the adhesive, as can isopropyl rubbing alcohol. I'd suggest using the latter first.
I didnt want to steam it as it was near a very sensative part of the gun and did'nt want the inside full of consdenesed water, and I had no ubbing alcohol. Though for everydya use, I suppose your right.
Rubbing alcohol's pretty cheap.

In America (where you seem to live) No.1 causes of death are heart disease and obesity and No.1 polluters are cows.

I say pop music.

People who don't respect rules "just because they can", and that like to ruin other people's days for fun. I've met a few in real life, a few internet trolls etc. and it's one of the few things that really gets under my skin.

For lesser examples, I'll also agree with a fair few in this thread: the invincible plastic wrapping that seems determined to slice your wrists open should you dare to actually open it, Facebook/Twitter/whatever social site, alchool to an extent (I wouldn't mind it nearly as much if people used it responsibly), the Lord of the Rings (this I might get some flak for. It's not that it's a bad piece of writing really, from as much of an objective point as you can get with a book. Tolkien had a deep story and beautiful description...except he put that description everywhere it wasn't needed. His plot (at least if you haven't read the Simerilean [sp]) was basically: there were 20 rings. One was bad. Let's drop that one in evil-laval. The story really never drew me in properly and reading it was a chore overall. The very low-degree of magic is a more personal quip, but this IS the what annoys you thread), and those people who try to coat themselves in a "badass" persona and act with seriousness that they'd have no problem killing people and the like.
