This may sound weird but how about me as the owner of the house in Plants VS Zombies. I pretty much owned about 600+ waves in Survival: Endless.

Unless I've forgotten some atrocious warcrimes I've committed, I'd have to say my Warrior in World of Warcraft. Vanilla release until present day, no lapses, just slicin' up fools, NPCs or PvPs.

Rico Rodriguez from Just Cause and Just Cause 2.

Between military officers and innocent civilians on two files in both games, I probably have a death toll of well over 1000.

James Heller of Prototype 2 fame. Dat whipfist.

Seriously, if that ************ had a theme song it'd be Let the Bodies hit the Floor.

well lets see. I have killed 176,268 zombies in left for dead 2. Assuming equal time spent across all 4 playable characters, that would make about 44,000 zombies per character.

So EACH character has nearly killed an entire city's worth of people.

battlefront II, no doubt in my mind.

on average per round, i'd get 80ish kills, so you times that by...

fuck, i'd at least say 600 rounds played, anyone who has played the story/conquest mode knows exactly how damn addicting that can get.

Haladir, my old Dwarf Pally main in WoW... Played him for 200+ days, and for one thing I very distinctly remember leveling from 31 all the way to 36 purely be killing spiders in the arathi highlands (I got tired of questing and found the highlands very Zen) I would only kill creatures that were two or more levels above me, so it helped me understand my character's limitations a lot more. So, yeah, pretty sure I killed tens of thousands of enemies as Haladir.
After reading that I logged in to WoW.

Bear in mind, tracked statistics were only introduced into the game at the end of TBC/beginning of Wrath, so that's years of playtime unaccounted for. The important years when everything was fresh and new.

Supposedly my warrior has 396,976 kills.
I honestly thought it would be more. I'm clearly spending too much time on alts.

Do anime based games count? Cause if so I'd have to say Jagi from Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage if only by virtue that it's easy to keep track of my bodycount in that game. Over 10,000 people and counting by the way.

Frank West from Dead Rising. When it came out, me and a few mates played that game to death during school holidays. We racked up a little over three hundred thousand kills.

I'm not quite sure if this is accurate, but probably Papa Doc (in Tropico 3).

I just can't stand rebelions, so my massive army just ends up killing every single faction leader out there as soon as they start complaining. That and famine, ooooh the faces of people screaming for food while I burn through expensive cigars and build plenty of amazing landmarks!

hmm, that many? well then i must have at least topped 100k, and then again i made a few alts who got the 60 and then into the expansions... thanks for giving me a yardstick!

Easy. My civilization leader in GalCiv2. He's wiped out worlds populated by billions.
Edit: Oh, no strategy. dunno then, I don't really play many of the killfest-style of game.
But Strategy games should totally count.

Bond. James Bond. Because when it's invincible agent with infinite ammo versus unlimited guards pouring down a staircase, things tend to pile up fast. I forget if it tracks your kill count each mission, but even just sticking to the story without using cheats or any of the hidden missions you must kill at least 1000 henchmen/assorted soldiers over the course of the game.

It's a toss up, for me, between Grand Theft Auto 4 and Saints Row 3. Saints Row has you picking up a massive body count as part of the missions, but the weapons in GTA were just so satisfying I couldn't resist pissing off the police for hours at a time. I racked up quite a few kills speeding around empty streets and dropping grenades out my window. Or spinning my car out of control and diving out to fire RPGs at my pursuers.
Though, some characters of mine caused great deals of death, usually by leading massive armies around in Total War games.
