Almaz Von Almandine Adament. The guy's a freaking wrecking ball when it comes to killing enemies.

He's got somewhere close to 600,000 kills.

'Dat spinning sword dance...

If you count him as one character, the guy from MW3 Survival Mode. I have almost 30,000 kills with him. Otherwise, my character from Fallout 3, with whom I killed 454 people.

"Serious" Sam Stone. No contest whatsoever. Those games just give you a bunch of guns and squishy things to use them on. And it's awesome.
This by far, just one playthough is about x100 the average bodycount of a std FPS

Without a doubt it would be my Saints Row 2 guy. If I had as many clothing items as people I killed, the houses would implode and become black holes due to how much clothing there'd be.

Frank West, "Dead Rising"

I went after the achievement to kill the entire population of Willamette, Colorado.
This. None of my others have pushed back this.

If we count *all* kills, including killing my character or him dying then my Dark Souls guy.

Or any of the other trainers, I caught them all in SoulSilver and started EV/IV training in Black. Their body count is off the charts.
So 0 is off the charts? You don't kill anyone in pokemon. The things faint.
According to the pokemon manga, the pokemon dismember each other. I'm not saying that it is 100% fact but still, "fainting" doesn't mean they still live, they could have lost a lung, we don't know and their fainting before dying.

Well, if you count multiple games with the same character, it'd be one of the characters from Dynasty Warriors, no question. Probably Zhuge Liang...

For an individual character, probably my first playthrough of New Vegas- a psychopathic ginger cannibal girl who killed (and ate) everyone she met.

For total "kills", just take any Galactic Civs II game, killstreaks going into the hundreds of billions. But it doesn't feel so good when it's not personal and just an abstract figure.

Well I can't use any of my MMO characters as in city they get "defeats" So they'd have very few.

So probably my main character in Mount and Blade: warband

Seriously she usually wipes out half the enemy army on her own

Revya from Soul Nomad and the World Eaters where you blast all of existence into oblivion in the demon path if you win the final battle.

Either Alex Mercer or Doomguy.
I've spent countless hours working with both to reduce the threat of overpopulation.
Or demons.

My Fable 2 char went around all the towns and murdered everyone periodically, on top of monster kills.

My Skyrim main char probably had a kill count in the thousands (only counting NPCs), or tens of thousands (counting everything).

Altair probably killed a thousand or so guards, Templars and helpless civvies at my command.

It's a toss-up, and there might be others I'm forgetting.

Probably my main Mount and Blade: Warband character, yes even if you are only counting direct kills not those killed by her troops. You don?t make your own kingdom without leaving a few bodies in your wake.

Multiplayer? that one is pretty easy This guy right here:

http://images.wikia.com/left4dead/images/d/d9/Louis_-%29.jpg

Mained him since I started playing left 4 dead, never played as any of the other 3. I dont know how many kills exactly, but I have earned the archivement for killing 53xxx zombies a WHILE ago. I think its fair to assume I have around 5ish times that number by now. I love this game :D

If we go for singleplayer, well it gets a bit harder, but I belive it would be:

http://www.nag.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/dr2_off_the_record_nag.jpg

Oh yeah. Killed around 50000, and counting. Also, unlike left 4 dead this game has a kill counter so its far easier to know.

...

Well, I belive this was a good first post. I hope the 2 days late response dosnt counts as a bump, if it did I am sorry beforehand :(

EDIT: Oh yeah I see the images dosnt show... not sure how to put them on this forums.

Based solely on number of hours spent killing, times the body count per second... Dante.

I'd say 'Playa' from the Saints Row trilogy.

There's not a day that goes by in his life where he doesn't end up mowing down countless blood-filled squishy people.
Yeah.

Though Playa doesn't need a trilogy to rack up a massive body count.

Probably the Julii Familly from Rome Total War, played the campaign about 5 times. Hundreds of battles vs 1000-2000 enemy soldiers.

The Shogun too, from Shogun Total war obviously. Havnt played it as much as Rome but certainly has over 500,000 kills at the very least.

Edit: Oh, no RTS :( In that case its probably Ryu Hayabusa, the majority actually from Warriors Orochi 3, not the Ninja Gaiden games! 2-3k kills per battle.. damn I really gotta play some of that again.

I've done the 'Destroy Cradle 03' mission in Armored Core: For Answer and killed about 100 million people if that counts (that's in the Cradles alone, not counting anyone who died as a result of the flying city or two now falling out of the sky.)
