Iron... Woman. :D I mean, who in their life has honestly never wanted rocket boots? Also, high-fives would be hilarious.

I would like to go for Spiderman, but at the end of the day I think it'd feel weird to have spider webs shooting out my wrists.

Batman is awesome and all, but his life sucks. Family dead, check. Completely friendless, check. Love interests dying, check.

So, in this sense. Flash. Gotta' love the Wally.

If I had to be a superhero I would be Dr.Manhattan no contest.Never die Never sleep, eat or breath be,and be able to blasphemis?I think that's how you spell it,but never mind I would be able to blasphemitize God by creating life on other planets

The having to kill Rorschach part would suck but I think infinite power is good enough to make up for that, now to go destroy those pesky tachyons.
Personally, I think it would suck to be Dr. Manhattan. Seeing all moments in time, which destroys the entire illusion of free choice.

OT: My choice would be Animal Man. More specifically, Grant Morrison's run of animal man. I would have any ability of any animal I wanted (IE flight, reflexes, regeneration, speed, sense of time, asexual reproduction)
First I'm going to quote my self

then I'm going to say, that's just it free choice is an illusion in the watchmen world and I would love to have any illusion stripped from my eyes.So I would have super everything manipulation over reality a small emo phase and to have the harsh illusion of free choice ripped away from me...all in a blue naked lavender scented basket.pretty good deal.Either that or Rorschach other than the dying in the cold frozen artic wasteland part.I get to kill somebody with cooking fat.

It's would either have to be Rorschach or Spiderman. Rorschach has no powers and hardly any gadgets other than his grappling hook. However the injustice that he is delt throughout his life is enough motivation for to take on crime and corruption with about as much efficiency as Batman or Superman. I really don't like Spidermans character. I really think he's to much of cry baby but I've always wanted to have that inhuman level of agility. Being able to jump and flip and swing you way from sky scraper to tower to taxi withouth having to worry about breaking a single bone in your body would be freaking amazing.

True but one could argue that the two are separate abilities. Madrox has the X-Gene and his dup's are clones made of his physical mass, also its something he had from birth, while Naruto's shadow clones are made up of shadows and are Ninja related, whereas Shadow Clones are a tech that needs to be learned. Ninja tech and X-Gene abilities aren't the same thing. Madrox could solve quatum physics given time, he can separate himself from his dup's for extremely long durations and far distances, Messiah Complex has his dup going to the future to see all the crazy stuff that went down and to report back about it.
I agree that the story does take a down turn by having so many copies and that having copies of oneself has been done to death, but unlike Naruto's clones Madrox' dup's have the odd tendency to act out in ways that he wouldn't, aborations to his psychy from spliting or darker aspects of him coming to the surface. Hell one of his dup's nearly kills a guy in a coma and another makes him "dopple" with his hand in a guys mouth, thus by making him explode. He later comes out saying somethings wrong with him cuz thats not how he would act.
I more interested with how he deals with having all the experiences that aren't his own, in my opinion, and why the aforementioned aboration plays out.

She Hulk! (not really)

Captain Obvious? No, too obvious.

Er, Agent Zero is pretty cool. Also Morph, Quicksilver.

Without the face and shortness....Wolverine. Slowed aging, healing factor, animal senses, and in this world that and the claws are all you need.

Well all in all my favorite American hero is Gambit(or villain as it were.) If we extend to include manga/anime as well, Allen Walker. Oh, wait, also added to Gambit thing, Revan as well. Revan is pretty pro.
