That would be cool, yeah, I like that idea. Kid Flash has a lot of personality in the Young Justice cartoon and other animated stuff I've seen, but he's a complete tool in the newer comics, especially Flash: Rebirth. Anyway, a young, loose canon style Speedster would be really cool to see. I like it when heroes are explored in different emotional ways, like in Hancock
I've only ever really read the newer stuff. Basically only Rebirth and the trade 'Dastardly Death of the Rogues' so I haven't had any real exposure to Kid Flash. I know he was in Rebirth but, knowing nothing of the Flash's past continuity, that devolved into confusion very quickly for me.

Addendum to original post: I'd quite like a Moon Knight movie. Seems perfect in terms of making Marvel have that 'dark' edge in some of their characters. In terms of dark, Moon Knight's perfect. Dude's fucking insane, not afraid to kill people, and has multiple personalities and a God that seems to like to fuck with him for no expressly stated reason.

Only problem with that is that you say 'Moon Knight' to people they look at you like you're a fucking crazy person. Or they punch you. Or they shout 'Batman!' back at you.

We've seen Batman do incredibly well, we've seen Superman vary in results, we've seen Marvel dudes do pretty damn well across the board. And most recently we've seen Green Lantern sink like a deranged gunman into a vat of bleaching acid.

But despite DC only really having modern success with Batman, they're obviously going to continue trying to hit it big with their host of superheroes. So my question is, who would you like to see next?

Personally, I'm routing for the Flash. He's always been my favourite DC superhero (yes, I like him more than Batman) and he just seems to be awesome in every way. He has a kick-ass power, cool costume (shut up, it is!) and depending on various adaptions he's the ultimate wise-ass. He's just a character I could easily get on board with.

Plus he has one of the best and most diverse Rogues' Galleries of any DC superhero. It's not just any superhero that consistently has a large group of villains going against him as an organised group.
Flash would be awesome, but from what I've seen of computer effects trying to show that a person is moving super fast, I really think they should hold on to the Flash until they can get that effect right.

To answer your question, I would love to see the Green Lantern done better with an actual costume. I'm really surprised that they can make superhero costumes look good rather than goofy and impractical, so I really think that they can make a good Green Lantern costume. Oh and better story, effects, characters, actors, and etc of course

A spin-off of X-Men Origins: Wolverine starring Deadpool is in development, and Reynolds is attached to reprise his role.According to Empire, a script is in development, and Deadpool will "break the fourth wall" during the film.Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have been attached to write the script for the film.On April 8, 2011, Tim Miller was hired to direct the film.

Can't we perhaps just quit on sucky superhero movie adaptions? Even the most hardcore script writer should have noticed by now that the chances the movie turns out good stand clearly against him..

I think after the Avengers, they should consider making the following films-

Marvel- Doctor Strange. The film Thor proof that adding magic to the comic book film (well he was a bit of a sci fi viking) wouldn't mess it up.
Well it will be either that or Black Panther although would they able to get awaking making that film without offending the African people? Since the setting will be a made up city called Wakanda a futuristic city in Africa.

DC- I pretty agree with you with the Flash. The only alternative DC movie they could try next is the Green Arrow? Althought I'm not sure if he will be good enought on the big screen.

Others- The Boys.
While I haven't fully read that series but I like the concept to it. It pretty much the superheroes in that world are immoral (do drugs or can't be bother saving people) but still get treated as superheroes. The Boys are like regular humans injected by some super serum by the goverment whose goal is to keep the heroes in check (beat them up, blackmail and they can even killed them if needed). Also this film will surely be a 18 for it to be faithful to the comic and to be successful.

Wonder Woman seems like a logical next choice. Though doing a female lead in a superhero movie seems like it would tend itself towards sexploitation a la Catwoman. If a studio could manage to pull it off, it'd be awesome.
Well problem there is that hte Wonder Woman TV series didn't get picked up, so not sure they will dear do it. Also it has been in the works for a while, which means the rights hoders don't see the potential of a WW movie.

Deadpool is the obvious pick, him having been slated and teased for one as is.

How about Superman: Red Son; you know that one where superman landed in the Soviet Union instead of USA.

I agree with him, but that would be very hard to do. I would rather see them do a movie on True Brit that would awesome and you could keep the guy they going to use in the New Superman movie!

V for Vendetta: The Good Version

Or, if you got the director right, Neil Gaiman's Sandman

Supposedly Ryan Reynolds is definitely on board for that, script has been written and what I saw of it (if it's real) is exactly the way a deadpool flick should be. Also, this version of deadpool will have nothing to do with the Wolverine origins version.

I am constantly having my fingers crossed for a Preacher live-action adaptation.

I really want to see more adult/R-rated superhero films. If any studio would be willing to do it, The Boys or The Authority would rip the heads off any other superhero flick. God I'd love to see that.

Really? V for Vendetta is one of my favourite films.

Anyway, Deadpool is the obvious choice, and, like many people have already said, if it was done correctly, it would be awesome. I even think that Ryan Reynolds would be a good choice for an actor.....maybe.

Flash, again, if done correctly would be very good. I can imagine some super speed action scenes.

I think the Civil War story arc would be awesome, but it's a lot to cram into 2 hours, and I reckon if they made a film of it it would suck. Maybe a series consisting of hour long episodes or something...?

Oh, and maybe Penance. Gotta love Penance!
