What more can we need? He's a strong, silent leader who gets shit done.

With a crowbar.

Darth Revan...
He's the best choice videogame character to rule any country/planet/system/galaxy/universe/cluster of dimensions.

Of course I'd be better, but I'm no videogame character...

Oh, maybe the Overlord...
He'd be a good evil choice too...

I think, bear with me, probably Dr's Eggman or Wily. Mosly because of their obsession with robots, they think of all humans, apart from themselves, to be inferior, but on the same level with one another regardless if one is famous or another is rich. We're all the same expendable fleshbags until we prove otherwise. I like the idea as someone who holds value of intelligence over things like appearance and wealth. They're going to be cruel, but they will be curel to everyone the same way, leveling the playing field so those who are exceptional in some way, be it intelligence, leadership, stealth, or some ridiculous amount of sheer brute strength to rise above the rest and claim a position fitting whatever it is they can do.

Barring that I have a few others. Mewtwo for one, since any large scale crime or war can be dealt with by simply reading a few minds for the answers and possibly some large scale smiting.

Hmm. I like the Tank and Witch from L4D also, for a reason entirely different and possibly ridiculous. They would be the hardest to take down, and they could infect others. Take a look at the two groups from Left 4 Dead's respective games. All very different and would normally probably hate each other. But under the threat of being the last four(eight, seven) people alive, they band together and work towards a common goal of survival. So if something like the infection got around in our world, race and religion would cease to matter in a period of months, at most a year, before society broke down and the few immune would have to fight side by side regardless of what they might have thought a year or two before. As I heard on a commercial for a game i never cared about long ago "It's time for all the swords of man to strike as one. Brother defending brother."

And now I go the horror route with the four Sacrificed girls of the Fatal Frame series. All of them know various kinds of pain and betrayal. They would have no mercy for those who would wrongfully cause it, but at least one would understand at the same time what the victims were going through and be able to sympathize with that. Also, their powers are terrifying. Honestly play a fatal frame game and tell me you'd want to go up against what those women do to people who cross them. You can't. You won't. Neither would anyone else but those of us natural selection has a special buffet platter for housing them.

Yes, also known as the Jacksonian Gambit. It is rarely tried because in order to work the candidate must be obviously capable of carrying out their threats of ultra-violence.
I feel the need to add in, neither of them has much of a shot, simply because all american presidents have had greying hair, with exception of Obama, and other distinctly middle-age looking features. Most people would look at them and think that they simply didn't look experienced enough to run a country. But I'm moving to japan so I don't care what happens in america after i'm gone.

I think Duke might have a thing for Guile. And the reverse is also a possibility. You know the republicans would never let a gay or even bisexual man run the country. Most([DISCLAIMER]not all) seem to be pretentious dicks concerned with only the interests of the christian community and the wealthy percent.

Probably Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, Essentially, she'd make the best choices, considering she can judge either choice(And every person) to be either wrong or right, and follow through. She might get a bit extreme at times. But considering she's the judge of the afterlife that's to be expected.

Or Y'know MIKE HAGGAR, from Final Fight, because he's the kinda guy we need right now.

Professor Layton of course! (UK) As well as being the perfect gentleman he is always mentally one step ahead of everyone else and imo that would make for a formiddable Prime Minister.

Less seriously Maia from Summoner 2, She's a goddess in mortal form who is also a powerful queen, you dont really get more regal than that...

So hmm, i guess Layton for Prime minister, Maia for queen....now that would make england great again!!

Lara Croft for Priminister. She'd have excellent forign policy and a good funding for education. If she spends long enough in power and she might bring English Imperialism back again too.

Whew, good thing the BBC got him into a video game in time.

Or if that option fails... the guy who runs the state in Mirror's Edge. Say what you will but he knows how to keep a city clean.

A bit extreme?

OT: maybe Arakune? Having a formless blob of pure horror as prime minister/president sounds awesome!
