Which Video Game Character is having the Worst Day

We can all agree that characters go through alot of hardships, but some stand out above the rest. these are generally the ones we can relate with. In my case i think the gold metal may go to Isaac Clark from Dead Space. You can hear/see his frustration in his every heavy movement. (especially when he's stomping some necromorph babies)
Another strong competetor for me would be poor ol' Gordon Freeman (It was his first day).

I would think perhaps Max Payne. The game itself is a short thesis on how crap his life is. Runner up perhaps Leon Kennedy from Resi 2. The Raccoon City outbreak was his first day too.

Gordon Freeman. The man arrives late for work, someone stoled his suit helmet, opens a gate way and lets hordes of Aliens come trough, has to kill thousands of aliens on the way out, the rescue comes!! But they decide to shoot poor Freeman so he has to kill the Marines too, when he finnaly thinks his out he has to get back IN the facility, go trough a portal to an alien world, kill giant headcrabs and a weird alien with a really big head and when he thinks is finally over...some dude in a suit puts him in a stasis for 20 years...

Sucks to be him...

Gordon Freeman actually worked there. He became employee of the the month at one point and has a desk and everything. (Oh dera god I am a horrible, horrible nerd!)

Hmm, there is a few out there they wind up the creek with no form of paddle. Gordon is one, but he kicks so much arse, it is hard to sympathise with him. Plus he has a suit and a crowbar which makes his day much better.

I generally think people from survivor horror games. Usually thrown into a situation they don't know about, before getting hunted by the undead and forsaken. Couldn't pick any names out at the moment seeing as I don't play many.

Also, how about Ethan Thomas from Condemned. Dude just went to investigate a killing before getting framed and chased by some sort of deamon. Sucks to be him.

Master Chief. He gets back from a mission to find that he's being sent with the other Spartans to capture some random Covenant ship, then gets sent back to Reach when it's attacked, then his teammates almost all die (only a few survive) in the ensuing battle, THEN he ends up on Halo. He's got another Spartan locked in a cryo-chamber and the rest of his surviving teammates stuck underground on Reach, battles the Covenant AND the Flood, then when he blows up the place he has to fight more Covenant to get home. Then as soon as he gets to Earth he's in YET ANOTHER BATTLE, then fights on another Halo, then fights all through Earth and the Ark immediatly after being captured and tortured by Covenant forces. All this with not a moments rest between. How can anybody have a worse time than that, even if he is a super-soldier bred for war?

this is true! and thats why i put the PSP game Chains of Olympus. you will undersatand why if you have played the game why this make it the worst day ever for him and not the first title.
