Which Videogame Would You Like To See As An Anime?

Half-Life is so incredibly unsuitable for an anime adaptation that it would loop back to awesome.

I would be really, really happy if Sam and Max was made into an anime by the guy who made Cowboy Bebop. Do I honestly need to explain why?

Zelda is just screaming to be made into a troperiffic medieval fantasy anime.

Those are just the three examples that come to mind. I actually think a good bit of games could, if done with talent, have good anime series. There is a pretty big overlap between the two.

Edit: Have Hideaki Anno make a Metal Gear Solid anime for the hell of it. The results should be awesomely hilarious and maybe even genuinely good (well, at least I liked Evangelion).

I don't know if they could create some effective, original headfuckery that would tie into the franchise that could happen. But you would have to have some brilliant writers for it to stand out I think.

Manhunt. I think it'd be a perfect game to make into an anime. Dark, grisly plot, gore and violence that's ripe for anime exaggeration, and a simple premise.

I don't think games should ever be made into anime. The only relationship games and anime should have is when they've done been developed from a manga.

A few years back Sega made a terrible game called Gungrave that was turned into an awesome anime that actually started slow but hit it's stride in the middle as we were shown the beginnings of the key characters as human beings in a brutal world. The episode that sold me was "Young Dogs" that began the long and extended flash back to the titles characters youth.
