Which villains from the overall Batman universe do you think should be in the next Batman movie?

That guy who belives himself to be a character from Alice in the wonder land would make some giggles methinks! I prefer anyone tho is as psychotic and funny as the Joker himself!! The Penguin would be cool, but then again I think almost every Batman villan might be interesting from what I read while playing Batman:AA

Let's throw the audience a curve ball and pick a villain from another DC comic.

I say we use Snowflame from New Guardians #2. Oh come on! He's "The Man powered by Cocaine"! He'd be perfect!

Oooh! Maybe we could use Codpiece from Doom Patrol #70. A character with a mult-purpose, utility belt-like, mechanical wang? Brillant!

I've heard rumors of NPH or David Tennant doing the riddler, which would be awesome.

I want to see Penguin or maybe the Riddler, though Riddler always tends to remind me of the Joker, which would be too soon.

wow really if that was true it would be a hard decision to make either of them would be awesome and if the riddler was played more like a jigsaw like murder/robber always 2 moves ahead of batman with everything planned out in detail it would work very well i feel

either the riddler or the scarecrow for me as id like to see more of him

I really want Bane. I think it would be awesome if they did the arc where Bane breaks Bruce's back and Azrael takes over.

I mean, just imagine it. First 10 minutes of the movie you have Batman out doing his thing, fighting minor crooks, etc. Next thing he knows hes in the fight of his life, getting his ass kicked by a Mexican wrestler. Has his back broken. The next 20-30 minutes of the movie have Gotham going down the tubes again. Queue Azrael, coming in and picking up the slack, but all that sense of restraint that Bruce has is missing. Bats heals up and now he has to deal with both Azrael and Bane. It would be sweet.

You know, i really think that the sequel to the dark knight will not be as magnificent as the original. Heath's Joker made the Batman Begins movies in my eyes from standard comic book movie to actual mystery thrillers with a good sense of realism and plausibility.

If ever, i want Mr.Freeze. And this time make him a tragic character with good depth so he can earn the sympathy of the moviegoer. I understand why Arnie was hated for his freeze, but it was the decision of the early Batman team to make him "Kid Friendly". So to avoid this tragedy and backlash, make Mr.Freeze dramatic. And it would be a plus if Batman stayed single.

Who knows, maybe they can match up to the DK.

They kind of blew the load early with Joker. I mean, he's the perfect fit for batman, he is the perfect compliment to his personality, the ultimate opposite. He both compliments and offsets the nature of the Bat. You can't do another character piece like that.

Who does that leave? A character who can simply *beat* the Bat and open the way for a more expansive story;

Bane.

I've actually described what I would really like to see in the next Batman sequel here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.195630-Speculation-for-next-Batman-Movie-my-thoughts-NOT-OFFICIAL-RUMOUR], but that would require bringing back The Joker, which I'm not sure they'd be willing to do out of respect to Ledger's performance.

If we were to go with The Riddler as the popular choice for the next villain, then a part of me would love to see him played by the actor that plays Sheldon from "The Big Bang Theory." I'm pretty sure people will either love this idea or send me death-threats.
