Only their first party games are exclusives for sure, everything else aside from remedy's game has at least a 50/50 chance of coming to ps4 and who knows where that 1billion actually went or what MS is counting, they could be counting all the studios they built/bought a few years ago or their advertising budget ect. Bottom line last gen pretty much every "exclusive" MS paid for ended up on ps3, with the exception of lost odyssey and blue dragon, even if they have one or two that actually are exclusive there's still going to be several timed exclusives because that's how MS does business lie to and screw over the consumer.DragonKhan95 said:Microsoft doesn't pay for exclusives? Um ok. I assume you know this completely right? They have invested roughly $1Billion in next gen games, so I assume they have some Exclusives. The reason that Microsoft AAA exclusives game over to PS3 was not about timed exclusivity deals, but the fact that the rights to the game was bought by a different publisher.
Mass Effect only came to PS3 this year because EA bought the rights to the first game.
"Finally some logic lol" - I'd hardly describe agreeing with you as logic, it seems to a be an exception, not a rule.
Bottom line, Microsoft has invested a sh*t-ton of money in next gen games, maybe even more than sony, so you better believe that some will be exclusives.
Why would I realize that? This topic is about timed exclusives MS is paying to keep off ps4 for a year or whatever. You do realize MS it's much more likely MS doesn't have as much of a say in it as they are leading people to believe right?theuprising said:You do realize I couldn't care less if it gets to Playstation, right?
You do also realize that it's much more likely for Microsoft Studios to let Sunset Overdrive come to Windows than it is for them to let Insomniac get another publisher to bring the game to PS4, right?
I sincerely doubt it, Dead Rising is a Capcom game and technically being published by MS, why the hell is that? I think MS is just manipulating things so it looks like they have more say over the games then they actually do, by them publishing it as part of the timed exclusive deal but not actually holding the rights. I say this because nearly every single potential timed exclusive is published by MS and while several games last gen that were published by MS went to ps3 the majority of timed exclusives weren't, I think MS just wants people to doubt that the timed exclusives are timed exclusives and that's why they are listed as the publishers.Bellvedere said:The safest bet would be the below titles published by MS Studios will be exclusive to One and perhaps PC:
Below
Dead Rising 3
Sunset Overdrive
D4
Quantum Break
Below, Dead Rising 3 and Quantum Break, I think would be the most likely to show up on PC, just because those devs have previously released PC games.
As far as I'm aware there has only been 2 MS Studio titles to get a release on other platforms? NG2 (heavily reworked) and ME1 (franchise bought out by EA). It's definitely a possibility but there have also been third party devs (that have published for other platforms)that have kept a title or series exclusive since release.
Definitely expecting Titan Fall and Minecraft to show up on PS4 (maybe even WiiU Minecraft?).
