Never underestimate the ability of large groups of people to watch and do nothing with their cell phones out while someone beats the shit out of someone else. Awful to watch.
Who knows, eh?mrwoo6 said:He ain't going to steal from them again though, is he?FamoFunk said:Video makes me sad. What a backwards way from a bunch of animals to "teach" someone a lesson.
Stealing or not, it's not how you solve the bloody problem.
I agree, child abuse is the reserve for those who are weak inside and need a way to make themselves feel big. Regardless of what the child did this isn't right and I'm disappointed that none of the bystanders in the video tried to help.Appleshampoo said:Some of the people in this thread really dissapoint me. I don't care if the kid was stealing, that is absolutely savage to watch. I've seen all the 'shock videos' the internet has to offer and none of them bother me, but when I see shit like this it makes my blood boil. I'm not a violent person, but if I saw that happening I'd lose it and just see red.
It's a damn kid being beaten by grown men who should know better. The first kick as a 'Get the fuck away from that and go home' I could have forgiven. But the fact that the men just stand around him kicking him and just watching him cry before stepping on his damn hand. It's sick.
Oh, I take the 'grown men' back. No real man would do that to a child. Nor would any real men say 'LOL HE DESERVED IT'.

I doubt triads would do something like that in front of camera phones or that many people, they're probably just regular thugs...Onihara said:That's awful, even if the kid was stealing...he's just a kid, no need to treat him like that, you'd think he pissed off the mafia or something?
Akytalusia said:the video's down, but honestly, if he was caught stealing, he had it coming. don't get caught doing that stuff if you don't want to be punished, and don't do that stuff at all if you're going to get caught.

I would. Been there, done that. Got hurt doing to but at the very least, I never had to ask myself "Why didn't I help?" or "Was there something I could have done?" The problem with people just standing there is that unless you are a cold, unfeeling dickhead you will question your decision to stand by and do nothing while someone who's defenseless gets beaten on by people who are not. Someone may or may have not called the authorites. But at the same time no one stopped them.thaluikhain said:Because America is more properly the only continent with arseholes and idiots?Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:See, I keep telling people that America is NOT the only country with assholes and idiots, but no one ever believes me.
[small]Sorry, couldn't resist[/small]
Seriously though...in regards to a crowd standing around...how many people can honestly say they would step in and confront a bunch of violent people?
GTC maybe, but if you read my post carefully, you'll notice i don't condemn the act of stealing. i advise against the act of getting caught stealing, and recommend that the only people who should steal should be those who won't get caught. what i'm saying is that you enter this kind of action knowing full well the repercussions of being caught, so you can't complain when you're punished if you do get caught. he only has himself to blame and should learn something from this experience.88chaz88 said:Akytalusia said:the video's down, but honestly, if he was caught stealing, he had it coming. don't get caught doing that stuff if you don't want to be punished, and don't do that stuff at all if you're going to get caught. So this is what Lawfull Evil looks like...GreatTeacherCAW said:So... a kid gets punished for stealing.
