just like we see more women rapist nowadays
That has more to do with changing definitions. Like how all women rapists in England are trans, because they define rape in such a way that it requires the perpetrator to penetrate the victim with his penis (which is a...difficult bar for a cis lady to meet). In the US rape being defined in a way that makes it possible for a cis woman to be a rapist is only about 10 years old.

It's not that women are doing it more, it's that the definitions have changed in such a way to count things that weren't before.

Like how one of the most well known and influential rape researchers in the US (Mary P Koss) calls a man being drugged so a woman can make him have intercourse with her merely "unwanted contact."

It does seem reasonable to consider the two acts as distinct, as they are clearly not the same.

Seems rather... inappropriately euphemistic. In UK law it's called "Causing sexual activity without consent".
I mean, it's after being incredulous that a man could be forced into intercourse with a woman without his consent. She literally asks "How would that happen?" I'd forgotten about that part, but I tracked down a recording of it.

8:15 for the relevant bit.
EDIT: Huh, didn't know the forum would do that for Soundcloud links.

I mean that’s literally date rape so it kinda is the same.
Amusingly, Mary P Koss is also the person who coined the term "date rape."
