You fund the third world cartels that supply hard drugs to the first world, you die horribly. Kind of like the cartels' victims. Whose deaths you in part enabled. Sounds fair to me.

What a shame... she was a good woman... what a rotten way to die.
I'm going to Hell for laughing at that. You sir, win the internet.

OT: Can't say I was a fan of her music. My brother was. Oh, well. Rest in peace, miss.

Holy shit. How do you people not know this?
That was my reaction too, are you all like under 18? That could possibly be your only excuse to have not at least known who she was.

She was all over TV when I was younger.

RIP, again like alot of people, never a fan, but at least appreciated she had great talent.

These things happen when you smoke half the produce of Colombia. People die everyday, and Houston isn't special. She was pretty talented, and it's a loss to the industry (does she still make music?), but other than that it's hard for me to care.

Wow! I am surprised there are people who haven't heard of her! Although it seems to be the Americans to me who knew her most! I onl know of her really because I am a nineties child, and thats when she was biggest...
I'm Swedish and I sure as hell know her. I am not now, nor have I ever been a fan of her though.

But she was up there as one of the greatest artists there ever was, with Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Elvis and Madonna.

It's a shame. Really. Only one of them remains now. I hope to god there will be new artists replacing them one day. So far, I haven't seen a single one. Not even my favorite bands qualify to these positions.

Wait, WHAT?! I'm not what you'd call a fan of her work, but it's sad to know that she passed away under "unknown" circumstances...

I won't say Whitney Houston was a good person, and to say she took a LOT of drugs that were absolutely destroying her talent would be an understatement. However, it's sad when anyone dies that young, especially someone who had such a bright future at one point.

I recall her playing in the movie Waiting to Exhale. I guess she waited too long and paid the price.
