Nightmare from Devil May Cry.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate that thing! I bought that game 1 year ago and I have yet to beat the Nightmare!

It took me forever to finally figure out how to beat him. I had to buy a strategy guide for it. And now, I can't remember how...

I can usually knock down his health a bit, but it always manages to do much more damage and I end up using my health stars very quickly. Stupid gelatinous bastard.

The first time you take on Striders in half life 2 was a bit of a surprise for me, seeming as you take on fucking 6 of them and the npc's helping you are basically useless and forgot to tell me that the rocket container was on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP past all the Striders.

I remember! You trigger those beat-me-up-switches, then he reveals that glowy core you see in the picture. You stab the glowy core, he gets hurt. Hurt him enough, he dies. Simple.

About 2/3 the bosses in God Hand come out of absolutely nowhere. A gorilla reading newspaper and a little cave-dwelling psychic man come to mind as some of the completely random fights.

Dark Machinist Child - Timesplitters 2
Alright seriously, even though you kind of see it at the beginning (it looks like a robot kid, approx. 8 years old) it doesn't change the fact that this kid randomly turns into a giant machine with saws and giant screwdriver things stabbing you. Not exactly HARD, but still... made me go "aw wtf"

Creature (Princess) - Timesplitters Future Perfect
You're in a mansion with a bunch of zombies and ghosts and stuff, pretty easy, just aim above the shoulders. Walk around for a bit, killing these things in any way you please, then you walk into a courtyard and BAM! A giant 3 ton...thing...I can't even describe it, begins to breathe fire, throw fireballs, and whack you with claws of doom.

The Deerhaunter - Timespliiters Future Perfect
Same level at Creature, except this time it's in a dinner hall with raining zombies. Once you dispatch all of them the friggin mounted deerhead JUMPS out of the wall and chases you down like a drunk guy after a pinata.

I was expecting Deerhaunter. That head on the wall looked far too creepy for nothing to come of it. Princess still was a shock though.
